Not a comic, this is a scene from my illustrated webnovel, Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days.
Picture it: Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada, summer 1987. My brother convinces me to steal Mom's car to drive him to the local stripper bar so that he can see his girlfriend. Legal drinking age in Nova Scotia is 19. I was 15. He was 18. He managed to get us in, and not only that, he had a table reserved for us, front row center.
Now, the thing to keep in mind here is that I am gay. My brother didn't know it at the time, so he thought he was doing me a huge favour. Instead he managed to chase the last remaining threat of heterosexuality out of me. I saw things. Disturbing things.

I think the facial expressions say it all. I'm the blond kid. My brother is the black haired kid, and his buddy Jim is wearing the "Copenhagen" hat. Oh, and that bar was called "The Load of Mischief", which is also what this chapter is called.
Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days is a true slice-of-life story about coming of age, finding love, and coming out set in the 1980's and 1990's.
