GIFs not moving on mobile?

I've recently been taking advantage of gifs to integrate animated sections into my comic, but today I was reading through an old page on mobile and realized the gif wasn't moving- in fact, none of my episodes with animated sections have any motion at all anymore! (They still move on desktop)

Is there a reason or solution for this? I really hope that tapas mobile hasn't stopped supporting gifs, because webtoon doesn't support gifs at all for canvas creators, and I've been enjoying using animation to add something interesting to my comic

There hasn't been any change. So far, gifs only work on the website, not on the app.

I've definitely had GIFs work on mobile before though, I showed an animated section to my friends using my phone just a couple weeks ago!

Because they work on browser, regardless if mobile or desktop. The app is different.

No they definitely have worked in the mobile app before. I've never even visited the tapas website on my phone's internet browser.

I have used gifs before and they never worked on the app, but just went and checked and now they do!

That's so.., weird! So they stopped working for me and started working for you?

well, I'm relieved that at least some people can see gifs in the app, hopefully my readers can... and hopefully I get the ability to do so back eventually

If it helps, I looked at episode 96 of your comic (Apogee) and the gifs work nicely ^^
