As a certified, bonafied, gold-star gay guy and therefore a natural expert on fashion I would say the left one (brown hair) looks best.
Oh, who am I kidding? I’m sitting on my couch right now in a black T-shirt and camouflaged jogging pants. I know less than zero about fashion. They’ve already threatened to take my gay card away.
But I do know what I like, and I like the one on the left.
As for the eyes, I would have them reflect his mood. Most movies would have red as angry and blue as mellow (you can always tell in a movie when a robot is evil, it will have red eyes). I would do it the opposite way, though, and for a real scientific reason: if you look at the visible light spectrum, which ranges from red through violet, the red end is lower energy and the violet end is higher energy. Since anger is a high energy thing, having him radiate blue or violet when mad would make scientific sense.
This is actually how I have the magic in my series. Daecon is the most powerful shape-shifter and his magic is purple. The Royal class have magic ranging from green to blue. Basic shapeshifters use orange to yellow magic, depending on their strength. When I say ‘blue’ or ‘yellow’ magic I don’t mean that they can use magic from blue or yellow sources. What I mean is that these are simply the colours of any glow or light that happens when the magic is performed. Also, Daecon has visited the afterlife, and there are no physical bodies there, just sparkly fireball things. Daecon’s is violet and white, his father (who is Royal class) is blue, and Evander is yellow. Once again, the further toward violet, the more powerful. Other colours will be revealed as more characters are visited in the afterlife.
