As a raging aroace, I love seeing stories where this identity has a nice light shone on it!

Many of my own characters are aro and/or ace, my main character himself is a demisexual mlm bean.

Carmen, the MC in Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days (which happens to be me) is gay demi. At least I think so - I’m old and don’t quite have a tight grasp on all of these labels, but Carmen has to form emotional bonds with somebody before he’ll find them sexually attractive. I mean, he’ll see a hot guy and think “Damn, he’s hot” but he wouldn’t do a one night stand or anything like that. He’d have to get to know (and like) the person first.

Colin from WNHCD was Pan Aro (again, I may be mixing these labels up). He was sexually attracted to all people regardless of gender, but could not harbour romantic feelings or any sort of emotional attachment (as far as relationships go) toward anyone.

That's pretty correct use of the labeling! Understanding all of them is definitely a lot, and there's no shame in trying them out for size before being sure, and there's also nothing wrong with just "I am... whatever I am"!

My only character from Apparent Secrets who's out at present is Byxx. He's demi and marched in the Tapas Pride Parade this year.

Well.... none of my MC's are aroace, but they have secondary character who have a huge impact on the story that are, does that count?

Not gonna share my comic due to not really feeling like it, and it's super niche, but I have about 3 ace characters. Two are side characters (One being more of an extra.), and both are aro ace. The more extra character is the friend of one of my MCs, he's kind of an asshole and the MC stops being his friend at some point. The other aro ace is the same MC's younger brother, he was originally going to be ambiguous because... his sexuality genuinely didn't matter to me, but the aro aceness just clicked.

The third ace character is my other MC, Julian, they're a pan-romantic demi-sexual. Originally I intended for them to be pansexual, and I tried pretty hard to make them have attraction to folks, but they naturally grew into their asexuality. Like, being sexual just never felt right for their personality. Lol

It's funny that my sexual MC is surrounded by aces, which I never noticed until making this post.
