Germany/Deutschland is correct.
I think we are pretty unique with the bread and beer variety.
I missed that a lot when I was in NY and they only had that
stuff in the supermarket germans wouldn´t eat and no bakeries.

Yup, we have the most timezones in the world (beating russia) because our DROM (Départements et Régions d'Outre Mer) are legally counted as regions of France, and they're islands and small countries dotted around the globe.

The statue of liberty was designed by Bartholdi, a french sculptor, and partly built by Gustave Eiffel (yes, that Eiffel).

Horseball is like if you took polo, but added handball and wrestling with it. It's really impressive to look at and yes it's called "horseball" in its native french too, we pinched the english because "chevalballon" didn't sound as cool.

This really makes me happy, a lot of people on social media say they
don´t like german food and they usually only know some clichés which
have nothing to do with real german food which is very varied and also
very different in different regions in Germany.

100%. Germany has a great punk scene, subcultures in general

I lived there 7 years and Im going to Berlin to play a show at the "Wild at
heart" in 2 weeks. That´s a famous german punkrock / rock´n´roll venue.
Green Day once asked if they can play a secret show there. Lemmy used
to hang around there when he was playing in Berlin. Quention Tarantino was
there when I played with a psychobilly band.

I would also guess because his wife Bess’s parents were German immigrants so that could be a factor too.

He also spoke German as one of his many languages. It was the language that he grew up in his family speaking.

It makes sense too. There were a lot of German immigrants around Appleton where he grew up

What is some really good food that you recommend from there that would be really good to try?

I´ll do a german food special in the next days. The amount of different dishes
in every region is really huge from dishes, fast food and desserts.

And I read the information about Houdini, it´s really interesting, he could
probably speak fluent german. Some austrians are hard for me to understand,
it´s like german with dialect. The same like people from switzerland, I understand
some, some I don´t understand at all. But most austrians, and people from switzerland
can speak german
