Hi, I'm new around here but I'm an old broad. I have a question about writing a novel. Does it have to be several chapters of the same story OR can I write a novel-length series of short (micro) fiction?
Thanks for any insight. I appreciate it.
That would be called an anthology or a book of short stories, and there's nothing stopping you from writing something like that, so go for it.
You can write whatever you want.
Cool, I wanted to make sure before I just jumped in and did it. LOL
Thank you, Sir. That's all I really needed to hear. LOL
Are the micro-fictions about the same characters or place/time? If not related at all, they'd probably be read as an anthology. If related, well, I think it might be interpreted by a reader either way, but if they like it what does it matter?
Serial fiction also works well in this online format so you don't have to be constrained to novel standards
