Got My First Creepy Sub!

The only creepy comments I can remember off the top of my head was when I introduced Wen:

... and some of my readers were getting all excited over her thighs (one of them specifically said "she could crush my head with her legs and I would die happy") - but that was the only time, and it was definitely mostly joking around; those readers are frequent commenters, and are otherwise not creepy.

I'm just... really, really happy that Tapastic is overall such a friendly and positive place, because I'm drawing a comic about a grown man taking care of a small girl, and this is the internet. Rule 34 is a rule for a reason, and I really, really don't want Masahiro and Akane Rule 34'd.

I don't think I have one here but I used to have one on DA which was a woman who drew MLP porn (her icon was Rainbow Dash's O face...ew) and one day she moved her account and I was so happy she was gone.

Fortunately not yet. The closest to it is probably one of my non-Tapastic followers who likes to comment a lot on how perfect a couple my main characters would be (as in I'm not sure if they're reading the comic or just waiting to see if/when my characters do the smoochums). They also once asked if a drawing of my main character was of her "teasing" the viewer. Like no, not really, she's just hanging around in totally non-sexual way. >n>;

Eh yea I've never gotten any creepy comments because my casts are purely male. not to say they're arent people who are creepy about male characters, it's just mainly female characters that get weird comments usually, unfortunately!

though there are people who get a little too buddy buddy with me on an alternate account I have on tumblr, but granted because that one is enfocused on nsfw, so I do get the occasional...uncomfortable comment from people who think I'm actively seeking out gross stuff about my characters (to say, characters that aren't in my comic)

I was surprised to see people find "Lamar" from my comic cute and/or attractive in any way (idr phrasing used) by one or two people. Then again, why am I surprised?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to someone creeping on him eventually.

The most creepy we got was a person saying that our main character was his "dream girl" or something. I don't think that's creepy so much as more "WTF m8."

The type of sub I want is the one who comments stupid weird pro-Trump stuff on my anti-Trump comic or one of those gore fetishists on my gory, gritty WWII sci-fi comic. Then I'd feel like I hit the weird end of the fan spectrum.

Not really creepy, I've gotten mean and not even on here, but even that had me excited, like someone took time out of their day to send me a mean message made me excited that someone even knew I existed lol.

I got my first creepy sub about a month ago.. I have pretty much all of my 'art' social media linked to my Tapastic account, which of course is what I want, for people to read my comic and then check out my Tumblr, Twitter, etc...
But someone subbed to my comic, went on all of my social media, liked tons of stuff on every account, then PM'd me on Tumblr telling me that they need an update right away or they'll die.
Understandably (I think?) I got pretty creeped out, and I didn't answer the PM. About 2 weeks later, they PM'd me again, apologizing for demanding an update, saying that my webcomic was the first that they'd read, and they've since heard how rude and mean it is to ask a hardworking artist for updates.
I answered that PM saying it was fine, then they messaged me again saying that they're glad I'm not angry at them because they really like my comic. Which was really cute! XD
When someone on the internet creeps me out, I always try and remind myself that it's possible that they're just an excited little kid or someone who doesn't know much about webcomics/social media.
Although it is still super important to distance yourself from people who creep you out.

Yes, very true! That's why I didn't answer my creeper comment, but I still appreciate it so much lol. I saw that movie Swimfan (y'all should watch it) back when I was a competitive swimmer and just completely put me off from answering all the creeps online, YOU NEVER KNOW! XP

Gosh, i think the worst of all was in Deviantart (surprise!!!). I was making a lot of phantom of the opera fanarts, and this person started to make new accounts only to add my fanarts to the favourites. (all of the accounts was like "phantom99833" "phantom2786762" . it was creepy.
