So i'm generally a private person,I am trying to grow my audience and reach out to more people.I have considered trying to get on the whole youtube platform. But have trouble trying to set up for content that I want to create and being a private person it feels like I want to do it but I just don't find myself talking to the camera.I'm wondering if I should reach out to platforms like youtube,or work more on tumblr and instagram and what not just to sort of get myself out there.Should i jump in and just start making speedpaint videos.I'm not entirely sure what I should do.Like trying to grow an audience and at the same time get traffic for my webcomic?Idk....

I do speed drawing for about 4 years and I never spoke a word on the channel (could be one reason for slow growth).
I say hit all platform at once upload every where you can. upload your content and just do it.

If you are bashful about showing yourself in front of a camera you can do a style of videos in which you narrate and explain though images and your Original Character. The content of those channels are are usually critiques, tips about drawing, and writing. of course you can do other type of content to strand out.
Example:

Great example. I love this channel, and is a good model for creating a persona and sharing good images for content.

I see,I was thinking about doing those kinds of videos. And was thinking of just diving into it but i'll try to get a set up that works first  But thank you for the suggestion

i do agree with whats being said here. Though It does take time and figuring out what kind of content to make. The only idea i do have are speedpaints but..I may try to do something else if I can
