Guy how do we make book covers?

its really hard to make a book cover in tapas it keeps one saying "check image_ratio" what does that mean? can ya guys help me with it?( I'm knew here btw)

It's asking about the pixel ratio, which for book covers is 960x1440 pixels. In your drawing program, you should be able to change the image ratio.

It's your pixel size - it has to be 960 pixels (width) by 1440 pixels (height). If you're not drawing it yourself, you can pick the closest size and then crop/resize in something like paint. I'm a novelist, so I can't draw. ^^ I use Canva a lot to make book covers.

I use photoshop usually. If you are looking for something free and easy to use, you can always use Canva.

I save mine out as a .jpg.
Here are the sizes I do for different things on Tapas:

• Cover - 960 x 1484 px
• Square Cover - 460 x 460 px
• Banner - 1280 x 460 px
• Footer at end of each chapter (asking to like and subscribe) - 1280 x 460 px

I use Canva. I actually have made book covers for all of my WIPs just because I'm now addicted to making book covers in Canva...
