Ok, so it rained today instead of the sunshine they promised us, so no work on the renovations. On the plus side, it gave me the opportunity to draw Evander as Ernest, as promised @abigaillmartin.
As with other costumes I took some liberties. Evander has long hair that he usually keeps in a pony tail, but he let it down for this costume because Ernest has somewhat long hair as well. I drew him in Ernest's vest without the topcoat because I wanted some colour. Also, as I did with Zack's robotic arm, I also got a bit silly with Ernest's robotic leg. Being steampunk, though, only brass would do. I figured Evander's usual facial jewelry (piercings, glasses) would look good in brass as well.
Also, as I really cut Daecon's arm off to fit Zack's robotic one, I also cut Evander's leg off to fit Ernest's robotic leg. Evander hasn't quite gotten the hang of walking with it yet, so he is using a walking stick. Besides, walking sticks were high style back in the late 1800's.... at least I'm gonna tell myself that.
And don't worry about my cutting their limbs off so they can play dress-up. They're shapeshifters, and those limbs will grow back when they shift.
