Ya ours was a small thanksgiving because there's just 4 of us quarantining (I live in a "purple zone" so I am not allowed to party) so we finished cooking at like 11 AM lol. I had Thanksgiving brunch. Like a true Millenial.
But we had the standards: Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes (like actually got sweet potatoes this year instead of yams) but without the marshmallows on top because that's nasty, greenbeans and carrots--but not as a casserole because that's too much for 4 people, home-cooked rolls, gravy, and a pumpkin pie to split.
Good stuff!
TBH one of my favorite parts of thanksgiving is what we eat as an appetizer while cooking, and this might be just my family that does this, but it's the Lipton Spinach Dip-- here's a recipe, it's so good -- and you eat it on finger-sized slices of sourdough bread. A+ I crave it every year.
