Have artwork/comics inspired by music?

Ever find inspiration from music for your work? Have your stories ever been influenced by the moods of the sounds you're listening to? It's a large core of my work and in fact has had a lot to do with both the shape and origins of some of my comic series even! Why not share some of your art or a link to your series and let us know what really gets those creative juices flowing! I'll leave a few examples to get us started!

Music is pretty much my number 1 inspiration! I think besides dreams. I've had characters, story lines and entire series be inspired by music.

I have a series which I created a teaser to be printed and just wrote the first issue of called "Gorillas" based off a song by Army of the Pharaohs. Then there's another series I'm also writing right now called "March On" which is based off of Hip Hop as a whole with some House thrown in. Kinda funny to me two series I'm working on are so Hop Hop inspired because I'm more of a dance music guy. Well, pretty much everything else I've come up with is inspired by some form of as they call it now "EDM" because there's so many genres and I'm not about to sit here naming all of the ones that inspired me.

Since I listen to SO MUCH it's hard to just pick I'll go with what I'm listening to now which is video game music. I'm listening to my favorite video game soundtrack ever which are the Streets of Rage trilogy soundtracks. Here's the soundtrack for part 1. Each chapter in my comic, Dead Man's Party, is inspired by a song.

Chapter 1 is inspired by Finch's "Reduced To Teeth"
Chapter 2 is inspired by Thrice's "Trust"
Chapter 3 is inspired by Bump Of Chicken's "Dandelion" (not on YouTube - this one is a Japanese pop rock song)

Aesthetics? Buck Tick's "Romance" video is a big inspiration.

music always inspirated me!!!
but i have not a favorite musician. i just listen random music... when i find something i like, i save it.
btw, generally what i play mostly are OST/soundtrack.

I'm working on a series called "Room 314" that's quite literally based off the music videos I make in my head.
I don't really want to give away too much but it will be very.. odd... for lack of a better term....

yep. i dont have the artworks uploaded yet, but most of my art is influenced by music and/or my current mood. most of my 'trigger warning' pieces reflect my current struggle with suicidal depression. and a few reflect my anger towards certain people -_-

Yep, I have characters which I hope to incorporate in a comic one day, and the story will be centered around music. I haven't had much of chance to draw it yet but here are my characters (they're all in a band together)

I was inspired by fave Japanese bands, like andymori, The Flickers, androp, ellegarden, etc.. :')
