@AnonymousHouseCat we recently bought some again and man, I missed that shape. I don't know what it is, but it makes it taste better :grin:

@SauLuoi0101 mmm cookies...I don't mind how anything is drawn. Anything to. make our lives easier :grinning: Plus they look tasty!

@aleiahaith Burgers ARE good. Agreed.

@skippyjoeskilling Interesting! I actually really like your take on food images. Why not do something different!

I don't know why but I always tend to draw breakfast food (also these are from various points in the comic and my art has evolved over time)

Actually, scratch that.

For my series "Mërj Revolution" i did these sacred poisonous flying Yams from the Tiwi Islands. it's not cooked on my illustration tho xD

@rajillustration Colored in or not, cookies are always a treat!

@simplykit That is totally my inner self when I see dessert :heart_eyes:

@Kaydreamer Whisky is totally a food. It's like ice cream...it fills the cracks.

@Kittyfox I would eat breakfast food any time during the day/night. I love how our drawings change with experience :heart:

@Merj How mysterious! Not only are they sacred but they're poisonous and also fly?! How interesting that a certain length of cooking time changes it so they can be eaten.

yes and no! it's a real yam called "Flying Yam" from Tiwi Islands, Australia. the reason it's called this way it's because most yams grow underneath the earth, this one is above (the plant i illustrated). they are indeed poisonous if not prepared correctly. in the Kurlama Cerimony, every year they cook the yam for 3 nights and 3 days to make the sacred dish wich will give them health for another year. This was all reference i researched for my series, Mërj Revolution, which it's about myths from diferent cultures, check it out if you like too <3

i've also drawn the Flying Yam in this sticker. It's in portuguese, means "Yam Love".
