Have you gotten to *that* part of your story yet?

I've partly drawn a pivotal "wut" moment.
It's months and months away to release and I cant help but think what my few readers will make of it!

In fact, I just published it this week!! I've written chapters with very difficult and sentimental moments, but this one in particular, although for some it wouldn't be a big deal and I mean the moment when my characters are together... together, for the first time in decades . It was a bit stressful for me because I didn't want it to seem so melodramatic but something that had to happen in an intense and unexpected way. I doubted this chapter when I felt it was the right time to write it and even more so when I shared it.

Is the only thing I've posted here with "THAT" in it, and technically this is a edited script.. And I have already kinda maybe written "THAT" thing but in the worst possible way.....

To be clear I also have "drawn THAT" part in a abridged comic as I realized UBERNATURA takes way too long to even write, but I can't post it here because the panels might be lost forever.......

And to finally actually answer: NO, I haven't gotten to "THAT" part in the actual comic, because things happen.... One day the script will be uploaded here, but I'm not going for "THAT" anymore.. I wasted a bunch of time and money and didn't even get to the arc with "THAT" in it

The ones completed
(1) Ep 2D - 2D3 Owen sees through the eyes of a sadistic man (FPS game style) who finds intrigue with the outbreak Owen & Evan unwillingly started in their hometown. A wild rollercoaster scene that continues to build on the comic's style of action horror, more whacky powers and ties together previously introduced events.

(2) Ep 3a - 3a4 Evan infects a pig (unintentionally), Evan gets to show some combat tricks, both he and Owen learn new abilities. Enjoyed capturing panels where foreground and background showed action happening, and the spontaneous/amateur vibe of the fight.

There are lots of 'That Parts' I cant wait for -two are very close
(1) VS Raffa and (2) meeting Xun - two more guys who make up season 1's core cast (think ninja turtles/power rangers group dynamic) Both appear to know more about the outbreak and bring out other sides of Evan's dynamic personality. Owen learns more about his big brother outside the 'home environment'.

And after Season 1 (long ways to go) - can't wait to introduce other characters who contribute to 'That Part'

Oh, I love this! THAT special scene I want to get to ... it make take about 4 mos or another year. But I've been at my story for years upon years. I've just recently posted the novel where THAT scene is. I think it will appear in my novel before the comic! faint

I've gotten to a few "that" parts, as far as being excited to write them. At this point, every new chapter feels like "that" part to a small extent. I'm coming up on the end of my first "book," so I'm really excited.

But as for the big moments, the last 18 or so chapters contained plot points and changes to character dynamics that I've had in mind for up to 10 years. Having those out in the open and executed well enough for people to enjoy them really feels nice!

I've got another similar moment coming up, but I'm not sure how long it'll take me to get to it.

Nope; I've written a bit of it, but it's gonna be a while before I draw and publish :'D

Arc 2. The whole thing. I've mentioned it a few times but I don't think I've elaborated, and today is probably no different

why do you feel that way about it?

I guess it's because it revolves around a theme that I don't generally get the chance to talk about in casual conversation, and can't really bring myself to start a discussion on either All the arcs revolve around themes I'm passionate about, but at least I get to rant about the others, but this particular theme is probably one I can only (proactively) express through fiction. So yeah, it's basically a bottle of soda ready to explode XD

I feel like there's quite a few of those parts of my comic that I'm hyped for, most of which won't happen for several years, haha. One of them is coming very soon though!

Right now I'm currently in the war arc of Dan. It's the most important part of the series and it's one of the longer arcs. I'm taking my time building up characters and setting the scene for the upcoming clash. It's a long process but It'll definitely be worth it for readers in the end. Also, all the characters in the story will be introduced including the ones at the very top of the society.

I´m not 100% sure if I understood this topic correctly.
My goal is to be in that part of the story all the time.
I achieved that in some 2 page comics that I did, every panel, figure, detail that
I drew was exciting to draw and write. I´m trying to get to the point where the whole
story and comic feels like that.

I think that’s fair! I’m also very excited to draw basically every scene in my comic, but there’s a few that are scenes that are really important and impactful in ways that some of the other ones aren’t and so i’m super excited to draw those ones probably even more than the more mundane ones like conversations and stuff!

Although most of my book isn't published yet (it's in the queue, set to upload on Saturdays) I suppose that one of those "THAT" points published today and will be built upon further next week: Daecon is finally starting to harness his magical powers and put them to use, which is remarkable because until very recently he didn't even know he had any magical powers. It's trial by fire, too: He is learning and using them because he has to.

My feeling & thought behind it is that I want the reader to be in "that" part of the story all the time and
I think that´s something that differs my boring work from my not boring work.
When I feel like I just have to get through boring passages to get to the good stuff then I don´t exspect
my reader to find the boring stuff exciting but I want my reader to be super excitied as if they just watch
Breaking Bad and can´t help but binge watch the whole series

For the script I have indeed finally gotten to "that" scene! Very excited to write (not gonna spoil it here though). Unfortunately it'll take me many more yeara before I get to actually draw it though

Interesting seeing this thread again and realizing that I was talking about the reveal of the villain, haha. It's happened! The villain has been revealed!!

Now onward to the next "that part."
