Having a style that's not too realistic or stylized?

I've noticed that when compared to a real human face/body, my art isn't so similar but when seeing more stylized pieces that I like it's not too stylized either?? I don't know, I'm just going through this phase where I don't know what my art style exactly is or what the "look" really is yet. Here are some examples to know what I'm talking about:

So any tips/ ways to deal with this artistic existential crisis? Am I just basic?

Honestly, I find your art style charming and perfect for the right semi-realistic story. So as long as you match your art to the type of comic you're fine.

I had this problem for a long time too until I realized I just was used to my art and my style. I see it every day so I don't see it with the same new eyes everyone else does. Even if I changed my art completely I'd be in the same boat in a few years. And I might lose the couple fans I have because they might not make the jump to a new style every time I did.

It's always great to try different things. What is it that you don't really like right now? If it's the fact, that your art is halfway between realistic and stylized, than there's nothing to worry about, there are tons of artists, who are in the middle, everything depends on details

Make yourself a folder on PC with some of the artworks you like. Don't worry if there are many of them, it could take time, but you have nowhere to rush. If you have some particular artists and you think you want do draw kinda like that, make a special folder for this artist. And then look at all of these artworks and compare. Do you love how someone is drawing noses/eyes/hair/lineart/something else? You can try it in the next few artworks of yours!

You shouldn't change your art style once and forever right now, but you can make some small changes here and there, and make more sketches, if you are not comfortable with doing the full colour artwork with a new style.

Don't be afraid to try new things!

Well I've generally tried to switch up proportions and lineart (I used to have solid black lines, personally I find colored lines better) and that's how I arrived to where I am. I'm inspired by my friends and also some youtubers but I try to not make it too obvious lol. I guess you're right I'll gather the artworks I really liked from them and see what makes them special to me although technically already doing that in the first picture

The way I deal with issues with my art style is by making sure that I gradually work on things that I want to change about the style. Here's the catch-22, I want to always have issues with my art style to keep finding things to improve.

I think it will take a while for a style to develop, and even when it does, it constantly changes.
It will also depend on the story you wish to tell with your art style. A realistic style I find is really good for narrative heavy stories, but a more stylized art style could be better for action heavy stories. Then a super simple style is always fun for comedy.

At the end of the day, do a style that /you/ like. Reason being that your art should motivate you to create. It can be hard drawing something you are iffy about.

If the reader can clearly understand the impression you are trying to leave as an artist, then you have done your job as a creator.

There is nothing wrong with your style from a technical or design standpoint. Its clear and attractive. There's just nothing happeing here and your comparing your peice to 2 illustrations that have a lot more context and intention packed into a scene beyond a character profile.

Rather than changing your style that already works in a certain manner, I recommend spending some time trying to figure out what enhancements you're leaving on the table. (Facial Expression, focus, direction etc...)

Oh I think the reason for nothing happening is the fact that I'm not really working on my comic right now as I'm rewriting the story. These are all just screenshots to see my artstyle and know what I'm talking about

Muchas gracias! I've been practicing so much with the animation and trying to out consistent drawings on my instagram I've also been practicing drawing more backgrounds and dynamic poses lol
