Hej Stylus is it worth the buy?

I use to have this app called "Hej Stylus" and back then it cost $15 and 2 years after that the price increased to $30. what the app does is makes your line art smooth when you draw and i was wondering if anyone has used the updated version and whats your experience with it.
I use to have it when they first released it and it was okay to be honest. but the new version shows a lot of improvement and more versatile use however I know they can be showing you this so you buy it and once you do, it turns into trash. i have considered buying it because i struggle with smooth lines but i want to know if anyone has tried it before i go forth.
i know $30 isn't a lot but why waste it on something that may not be worth it.

Is it an addition to an art program like PS? It doesn't really clarify on the site; just that it's a stabilizer for mac. If your tablet drivers don't do that in combination with your art program, I'd question the program and what drivers you're using..

edit: the site says it has a free 2 week trial period

My tablet is fine.
and you are right. it s a stabilizer. i remember my old tablet having issues and thats the reason why i purchased it. but my current tablet isn't having issues so i really have no use for the software however it gives clean lines i want to purchase it. but before i do, i was just wondering if anyone has used the recent updated version.

It's a stabilizer, but now that Photoshop added the 'smoothing' tool, it's become obsolete for me. My other art programs already had a stabilizing option before that.

I likely wouldn't purchase it nowadays.

It sounds like it's the same price as Lazy Nezumi--which is what I use (and has worked wonderfully the entire time I've used it) what I like about Lazy Nezumi vs other stabilizers is that it also comes with drawing tools like being able to make a quick perspective guide, ellipse in perspective guides, even does fish eye perspective, and handles many types of smoothing. Hej works for Macs, which is what it has on Lazy Nezumi but like...it only stabilizes. Just doesn't seem worth the price if it doesn't come with all those other neat tricks that Lazy Nezumi has. Hopefully one day Lazy Nezumi will have a mac option.
