Hello everyone. I'm relatively new here and have been reading some of the comics here and have enjoyed them quite a bit. I also hope to make a comic series or two of my own, but admittedly, I'm not much of an artist. Despite that I'll at least post some of the story in a novel format until I can find an artist or at least some way to do storyboards. Feel free to check out my profile and any tips on how to do some storyboards or finding an artist will be appreciated.

welcome new person, you'll love it here if you like a super nice community !if you want to check out my comic Los Esmeraldas

Welcome. I'm relatively new as well. You can usually find me on the forums being drunk and posting stupid shit when I'm bored. I also post stupid shit on the main site, like my dumbass comic Waffles and Pancakes.

Welcome to Tapastic! Everyone is probably way too friendly and supportive, so there's that. I'm jonno, i basically live on the forums, and am currently writing AM (which may i mention i have ditched a couple of friends today to work on it, deadlines and such smile )

Enjoy your stay, and try to be as nice as some of the people here, its kinda tough!

Just be patient and work hard to get better and you'll get there eventually smile And when the basic idea behind your comic is good it'll take you far. When you get around to put it out there, let us know.
I also gathered courage for years to start putting my own comics out there. Check them out if you want!
Numb & Little Tales

Welcome! I think storyboards/roughs should be easy enough to do. Don't sweat too much over them, and I'm sure you'll do fine.

I'm currently working on a series of art tutorial videos at my YouTube channel. You're welcome to check them out and suggest others that might help you! The anatomy basics might be a great beginning for something like storyboards.

I'm currently doing the ambitious OCCULTIS, which I'd be delighted if you checked out. smile

Welcome to Tapastic! I've been here for a bit, but not on the forums! I actually collaborate with an artist myself. Sometimes certain ideas need certain styles, so we create it together. Working with an artist in real life is easier in my opinion. I would try hitting up an artist friend if you have one!

Hello and Welcome to Tapastic!

This is a great community that is for the most part very supportive but will give you honest feedback when you ask for it. In terms of finding an artist, these boards can be a good resource. Just create a new topic saying your are looking for an artist for your series.

And if you are looking for other new series to read, check out my strip The Working Stiff

@Samkendall752! Just go for it and get some work out there would be my advice smile Its great to get feedback from other people and you can learn so much. Learn by doing as they say! Anyway nice to meet you! I have a gag style comic called All Fingers and Thumbs. Check it out if that's your kind of thing!
