ahhh honestly, I really need to work with pastels more! Ooh, and paint! My main medium is pencil crayon, but I should try mixing it up someday, it would be fun! And even if it does look similar, I think you should still go for it!
And yes, I feel you there. But one of these days I'll hunt for some other traditional comics here! I'm sure there's got to be a decent amount!

Hi, Mikayi!! It's so nice to meet you! And yes, I spent so much time hovering over the boards, I was so sad that I couldn't join them. ;v; But now that I can, I hope to make some new friends, and get involved with the community! And same to you!

Yes, I've thought of myself as asexual/aromantic for a while now. Though I do feel some sort of feelings towards girls, and I'm not sure if those feelings are romantic or just platonic so ??? I'm still trying to figure myself out ahaha. And yes, I don't think much of gender. I'm biologically female, and I have been mistaken as a boy before, though I've never been offended by that. In fact, I try my best to make myself look androgynous, so then people are just as confused about my gender as I am! Maybe one day I'll figure out what I identify as, but for now I'll go with anything. ;v;

And that's very neat! I'll definitely check out your art later, I have no doubt that it's lovely! And I feel you, using a tablet is hard. I have one, and even though I've had a lot of practice with it, I still can't get a hang of it. ;v; Oh well! And thank you so much!! I always tend to have doubts about my art style, so I'm trying my best to make it a bit more....distinct I guess? Who knows!

And yes, I honestly can't imagine myself doing anything other than art. I've placed all of my self-worth into my abilities as an artist, which isn't really healthy, but is a good source of motivation I suppose? Either way, I'm still only 16, so I still have time to think about it.
And ooh, I loved Zoo Tycoon so much when I was little! It was definitely one of my favourite games back then. And you sure love a lot of movies! I don't watch very many, that's super impressive!!
And your art is lovely, wow! You have such a lovely art style, and the colours you used in that digital piece are really nice. And I'll definitely check out your project when I have the time! Thank you so much!

@foxowl Hello!! It's nice to meet you! Yeah, I have the inattentive type of ADHD instead of the hyperactive type, and it's hard to stick with one thing, I feel you. ;v; But at least I come up with cool stuff while spacing out I guess?
And yes, I love Undertale! It was such a nice game! And oh my god I'm so hyped for Sun and Moon!! I've been keeping an eye out for any updates or leaks, but none so far. ;v; oh well.
And thank you so much!! Yes, Type Masters gets a little...yikes. A lot of blood and death and ghosts and backstabbing (figuratively and literally oops) and one guy gets put into a coma. Twice. It'll be a fun time.

And it's so nice to meet so many asexual people here! It makes me feel much more comfortable here. And yes, when I was young I always used to watch my sister play Nintendo games instead of actually playing them! Sometimes she'd get so irritated by me hovering that she'd make me leave. But I would always sneak in and watch from a hiding place, I just really loved the games that much!
You seem like such a lovely person! I'll definitely check out your comics sometime, they sound super cool!

I tried a few times and couldn't figure it out till I finally read the post about it not working. I thought I did something wrong when I tried to log in. I am sure you will, seems like a lot of nice people are here, and I'm actually happy to be a part of the forums. most of the time I'm in a cave, and to shy to say hello. but I'm doing my best to get involved with things on here, so I can meet new people with interest the same.

I understand, I'm not really a romantic by any means sometimes, but I use biromatic, although I probable more in my terms of usage is 'very close relationship' not sexual by any means. so it's borderline platonic to me. dress how you want you'll be fine, I wear baggy close a lot, more comfortable for me. but sometimes I wear a dress or skirt. never anything that is fully one way or the other.

thank you for that, I hope if you do you'll like the story. like I said it's far from popular, but I like drawing so I share when I can. but I have a bad habit of warning people the story and all is a bit off. I finally got a pro 4 and the tablet is wondrful but because I'm used to a certain page size it's still hard to draw on there being the dimension are so much different.

Hi Charlie! <3 I also just got the ability to post on the forums, so it's nice to finally be able to meet everyone. XD Also hi fellow asexual. It's nice to have more of us in the comics scene when there's so much sex/romance-focused comics to be found (I'm hetero-romantic, but romance itself is so... blah.)

Your art is looking really nice! Do keep it up! I think it's cool that you're doing traditional art; I think having a good background in traditional gives you somewhat of an edge when you move into doing digital. Though you don't have to do digital at all if you don't want to.

As for me, I like all sorts of games from Harvest Moon to Silent Hill D: My tastes across all things generally swing from cute and sweet to dark and creepy. I'm the kind of girl who will wear a cute flowery lolita outfit while listening to death metal.
I used to be a primarily traditional artist but have been doing a lot of digital lately because it's faster. My first comic was all traditional, but my latest project Centralia 2050 is almost entirely done in photoshop. Though I really enjoy doing watercolour illustrations on the side.

Anyhoo, I hope to see you around more! Everyone here is so friendly, it's a little overwhelming haha.

Which is saying a lot because I'm terrible at talking to people ahaha.. and I think you're doing great! You seem like a very nice person, so I'm sure you'll do fine!
And yes, I feel you. I have no interest in a sexual relationship, but something romantic or platonic seems fine for me. But I just don't like the idea of being in a relationship, so I really don't know what to think. Oh well. And yes, I often wear baggy clothing too, it's much more comfortable for me. Though now that it's getting warmer, I can't wear my favorite sweater anymore! Which is really disappointing. ;v;

Agreed! Whenever I'm watching a movie or show and there's a sex scene it's just kinda like "erghghgh". Especially as a female, when a lot of imagery of women is heavily sexualized for other's enjoyment, it leaves you feeling really uncomfortable. That's why I make a point not to portray the protag of my comic in a sexual/male-gaze way.

Pfff well, as long as you don't start hurting yourself mentally and physically over it, I don't see how dedicating your life to something you enjoy is unhealthy. At least you have a better idea on what you want to do with your life than most people, I'm gonna be 30 in a few years and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. Lmao!
Hell yeah! My favourite part will always be letting the animals free after making my zoo into some big, awesome thing, it's like pressing the disaster button in the Sim City game after you've made a bustling city. Heh growing up I kind of made a hobby out of watching stuff, and I've got a high tolerance level when it comes to media I consume... unless there's kissing scenes in it, I can't really get behind that most of the time.

Aw, thank you! I wouldn't have minded continuing digital art, but man, it's so freaken frustrating and it takes twice as long to doodle something that looks worse than if I were to doodle it by hand. Then again, I could just be generally bias since I'm a horrible sucker for the look of traditional work, art like Mucha's is like porn for my eyes. -drools- But my project isn't the most conventional thing, so I hope you find it enjoyable.

I go by GesuGesu here and there, but my main nickname is Kimoi.

My favourite games are usually JRPGs like FF, Tales, etc or most Nintendo games. I don't watch movies much...
My current preferred medium is digital, since paper tends to pile up and my parents would find suspicious drawings in the trash.
My usual process for creating comics is probably the new way I've learned in class:
1. script
2. thumbnail
3. pencils/sketch
4. ink + colour + typeset

I'm generally a manga/anime person who reads like 90% BL with nearly no limits on sin so I tend to trigger a lot of fangirls.
