I’ve been working on a dark fantasy story and would really appreciate some early feedback. The vibe leans toward heavier themes—cursed towns, twisted legacies, and a main character with a complicated past. If you enjoy stuff like Berserk or Fujimoto-style storytelling, you might vibe with it.
Still a rough draft, but I’m hoping to get some opinions on the first few chapters. Here’s what I’m especially looking for:
How’s the pacing, especially at the start?
Does the tone feel right—dark, tense, a little tragic?
Is the main character’s voice distinct and engaging?
Is the world-building clear or too overwhelming?
And most importantly, does it keep your interest?
