Help me pick a thumbnail

So I posted this on the "How does this look" thread but its a pretty old one and since I'm not sure how often people will check it so I figured I'd make another post =P

I narrowed down a few variations for thumbnails (the first being the original). Obviously bare in mind that they will be smaller and the goal is to catch attention:

The last one, definitely :> The other ones are too tiny at a shrunk-down level to get a clear look at the character(s), and the standing poses aren't as exciting as the flying/leaping/guns-a-blazin' pose. The diagonal lines also make for a more interesting composition. I'm also really fond of how the stripe on her pants zig-zags into the composition.

Bottom right looks the best, I think. In the first one the figures are hard to make out, in the second one it's hard to see the girl's face, and in the third one, again, it's hard to see the character's faces.

Bottom right , I mean I liked the slightly zoomed out one from the other thread but after looking at this longer and really considering it I think the bottom right is it OwO

I actually preferred the one in the lower left corner at first, because I'm interested in the interaction between the two characters – they make each other interesting, if that makes any sense? However, like the others have mentioned, the thumbnails will be smaller than this, and it's already difficult to make out the details in the one on the lower left. The last one (to the lower right) has more action and movement to it and probably gives a better idea about what kind of comic this is – and it will read better at a reduced size. So all in all I'd say you should go for the last one

Alrighty, so it looks like the consensus is that the close-up is the best. I was scoping out other people's thumbnails and I realized (obviously) the title is underneath and many people don't put any text in their thumbnails. So, I just wanted to try out one last version without the text:

if its for a chapter yes but for the comic have the name it grabs attention and looks great

I think I have to agree with @scullpanda here, even though the thumbnail will have the name of the comic underneath it, it still looks somewhat more...professional when you keep it in the thumbnail. There's no harm repeating the name of your comic – makes it more memorable!
