Hi hiiii~
Sethstiel here ^^
SO~~ I'm getting my FIRST EVER graphic tablet but I kinda have to be on budget.. Let's say.. 200 dolars limit.
I've set my eyes on Veikk A15 PRO but as fellow artists, I wanted to have your opinions as well~

What is the tablet you're currently using? Are you happy with it OR which graphics tablet would you rather than yours?
Btw I'm using Clip Studio Ex so it has to be able to work with that ^^

I've only ever used wacom (and before that some off brand company VisTab) and specifically gone for it's smaller pen tab models as opposed to screen tablets which cost WAY more than I'm willing to pay for

The first was the old Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small, that lasted maybe a few years before the cord wore down so now I'm working on this newer version, the Wacom Intuos Small which is about $80 before s+h

I have an older Wacom Intuos Manga (CTH480), which I got for... I think it was 60€ back then? Newer Intuos tablets seem to be a little more expensive now (around $80), but I'd still totally recommend them. I had mine for 7+ years and I also use it with Clip Studio Paint EX, as well as Photoshop, Affinity Designer, Corel Painter and a whole bunch of other softwares

I... could never quite get 100% used to sketching directly on a non-screen tablet and I much prefer screen tablets for digital drawing (especially my iPad Pro + Apple pencil ), but I've been using non-screen tablets for 15+ years to do digital coloring, inking, photomanipulation and basically anything but sketching (for that, I'd usually sketch stuff traditionally, then scan it and ink it digitally). I know plenty of artists who never had a single problem doing everything digitally with a non-screen tablet, though, so that's definitely more of a "me" issue rather than an actual issue with non-screen tablets themselves

I’ve heard the opposite from some other people, but I have had a pretty good time with Xp Pen. The products worked well with my Windows laptop, and the customer service was pretty good. I remember one time I just asked a question about one compatibility and they ended up offering me a free one because they thought the one I had was broken. Pretty good service! There’s a small version of this tablet that’s a 100$.

I think I can work with non screen tablets since I did my work without a tablet (from my laptop pad) till now hahha
Also.. good screen cost a lot TT

I use an XP-Pen 15.6 Artist (not the Pro version,) which is a screen tablet, with Clip Studio Paint. I really enjoy the brand. I did splurge on this and I got a stand, so it was about $400 altogether when I got it.

I had non-screen tablets before this, but I'm pretty happy with this switch.

XP-Pen does have a $250 screen tablet, too, if you can extend your budget. But they also have a bunch of regular drawing tablets for below $200.

The only complaint with my tablet is the color differential between my computer screen and the tablet. The tablet has more blue, so I need to color correct sometimes. But it seems color calibration seems to be a common issue with all screen tablets.
