Currently I own a website called blackdoor.online , but recently I've been considering rebranding and using a new name.

When I first started, most of my stories were about mature content or stories with horror elements, but I've moved more towards a wider variety of genres. I don't want people to think I only offer scary stuff or xxx stuff anymore.

I'd say most of my writing is for people (probably guys) ages 16 - 30. I like writing stories with heart and morals that take place in immature or silly worlds.

I'll go from writing about two guys standing on a roof having a contest to see who can pee on the furthest person on the ground, to having them face the challenges of societal harassment for being poor or something. That's not a real story I've written, but you get the idea.

So far I've brainstormed a few names I think I might go with

  1. PaperMonkey.com

  2. Bananabook.com

  3. Storymonkey.com

  4. Fictionmonkey.com

  5. Ookbooks.com

You'll probably notice all of these names relate to monkeys somehow, and that's because i feel like monkeys are a good representation of my writing. They can be silly goofy things, but also dangerous. They can be cute but get too close and you'll see they're still animals, and animals can be just as serious or harmful as us if not more. Beyond that, I love monkeys. They are my favorite animal, and I write them into a lot of my stories here and there. Plus, having a monkey in my new logo will probably help to move away from the whole horror theme I had going on with my old branding.

What are your thoughts? Which of my new names do you like more? Do you have a better idea for a name? Do you prefer my old website name?

Let me know what you think.

I like BananaBook the most, mostly due to alliteration.

One thing I noticed is that the titles do seem a bit childish. I know you're going for an immature light hearted tone with a monkey theme, but you may have to put in extra effort in promoting/marketing your site for the teen/adult audience and not the 10 & under crowd.
