So this is my first comic I'm publishing publicly and, to be honest, I've never been good with names. Takes me ten years to think of a character name, and twice as long for a story name. I've been calling my current story "Vincent and Clyde" because that is the name of the two main characters, and its the only title I've come up with that rolls off the tongue well. I also had another title "The Risen Returns" which I debated on for a long time. I didn't go with the name because, despite being a decent representation of what literally happens in the story, it just didn't stick with me. I do recognize that Vincent and Clyde isn't much of a hook for a title, so I really want to make one that stands out.
The genre of the comic is a mix of fantasy, comedy, and drama. A fandramacom if you will.
The basic blurb is about a Nonbinary college student, Clyde, who just wants to get out of the small town of Rochord, Wyoming. After breaking into an ancient mansion and falling through the weak wood floors, Clyde discovers a stone coffin with a vampire inside, named Vincent. Following that, the two find themselves paired together due to circumstances™. Be it by fate or some other magical force, Clyde finds themself caught up with creatures that the rest of the world is ignorant of.
What do you guys think? Do you like V&C or The Risen Returns? Do you have an alternative name in mind? I would really like to hear y'all's opinion and give me some help if you can! Thank you for reading!
