It's probably going to change depending on how much you get on your usual day. If it's 10 retweets, then it's probably really big if suddenly you get 50, as an example, and it might be a good chance to plug your comic or other work before that train of RTs ends. Otherwise, it's probably just regulars sharing your work and chances are they already know about it.

My Twitter: https://twitter.com/azzybluee5

Warning: I tend to retweet a lot of things and rarely make my own tweets, and even those tend to be really stupid. Also sometimes I retweet shit about the Philippine gov't ok bye follow pls

Here's me on Twitter @BlueWorldComics2 (and on Instagram2 FYI).

As for my advice: Follow Erik Larsen4. If you don't mind his political rants (I don't because I usually agree with him), his comic making advice is peerless in my opinion.

A few other comic-related accounts to follow... @webcomicnetwork4, @PanelXPanel2, @Saturday_AM2, and @gocomics2

And while I have your attention, I'm gonna go ahead and shout out some of my friends who do comic/geek related material: @Kaptain_Kay0092, @CustomComicBox1, and (I don't know if she's in here already, but I'm shouting her out anyway) @Rei193.............. Just be sure to tell'm who sent you.

@Rossovieta4 but getting kinda dead ever since i started Patreon (><;;;

  • Be mindful that apparently Twitter made it so bumping doesn't guarantee to bring up your post on the timeline again. And it lowkey "shadow ban" accounts that do one of those art threads since the dumb system assumed it's spam. (shadow ban can be multiple things: your @ doesn't show up on search, your tweets and replies don't show up to anyone...etc) You can check your @ in here https://shadowban.eu/

  • If you like Pokemon and would like some publicity, i highly recommend you join in and draw something nice whenever a new Pokemon drops. Like... immediately, lol. Again, please only do so if you actually like Pokemon! This really goes to any fanart in general. But Pokemon has a wide appeal so...

  • Even better: please draw fanart for your favorite webcomic creators and @ them. Not only it'll make their day, but also it gives more publicity to your work if they retweeted it (and/or shared on a special Fanart episode) and have an audience : >

  • Bookmark/Like instead of retweeting if you wanna keep your account just focused on your art and/or webcomics.

I'm @ModdedDrew5 on Twitter. The only advice I can give is interact genuinely with other artists there. The art community I found there are fairly nice and very supportive.

Here's mine!

Advice wise, I say you should follow some accounts that specialize in comics and such! If you can @ them, they sometimes help retweet your stuff. I can't think of the handle at the moment, but if I find 'em, i'll come back and comment!

Here’s my twitter! I post art here most often, but I also tweet a lot and I’m pretty vocal about my own opinions... I don’t bite though, promise! (also sorry if the link’s weird, I’m on mobile)

I don’t really have any tips because I’m a relatively small artist but basically just try to get yourself out there. Building rapport with other artists and supporting them is great too. Support them and they’ll support you!

Ok, I'm @kimoicchi , BUT I sorta want to actually interact with you guys on Twitter. Don't just post your own stuff and call it a day. Retweet, socialize, tag me in funny posts or something.

Here's ours:

We have been a bit lax lately but we found participating in weekly chats like #quackchat and #webcomicchat have been a great way to interact in the community.

Also doing a #FF (Follow Fridays) is a great way to pay it forward for other series. That's where you tag a heap of people on Friday and tell peeps they should follow them.

Hi there!

My twitter is:
https://twitter.com/teasidesketches4

I'm also not the best at social media, but I'm trying to be more active and engaged with people. Trying my best, but I always try to reply to people when they talk to me. I mostly use my Twitter to post comic updates and illustrations I've done, but I also try to just chat every so often.

I don't really have any tips that haven't been mentioned yet, so all I can say is that it's great to engage with other artists and try to get yourself out there with art shares.
