Agree with that. I've only brought 2 books over here so far but I know one of them died when it was complete until Tapas found it earlier this year and featured it, giving it a boost for a time. Now I'll only get reads here and there where as the story that's still actively being posted is getting at least a handful each day. Yeah it's not setting the tapas world on fire (especially when I compare it to how I did on Wattpad, but I also had an established fan base there when it was posted vs starting from scratch here) but it's still getting a smattering of readers because it gets chapters posted twice a week.
I feel like completed books always seem to get the short end of the stick, even on Wattpad. It almost feels like people get punished for actually finishing something.
What I do really like about Tapas vs Wattpad is that because the novel section is still so much smaller, it does feel like it's a bit easier to stand out among the crowd. I don't know how Tapas found me since I'm still a nobody here, but they found me and featured both of my books back to back. Wattpad just got a little too big for its britches so it became harder and harder for newer writers to stand a chance without a whole host of luck. Someday Tapas may fall to the same fate because I'm sure it can't be easy to really promote everyone evenly.
