Greetings, my name is Shido and I'm a digital illustrator with 8 years of experience. I love drawing pretty pictures and my favorite illustrations are particularly ones dark with bright lighting/light sources. I've created a traditional style comic titled Nina, although it's not an action based comic there is an action sequence in part 3 of Chapter 711.

Here are more examples of my works: https://www.deviantart.com/shidodraws/gallery/all56

Hey dominiquejedw40,

I sent a DM to share some unreleased pages we've done for other people that I think fits what you need.

Looking forward to your thoughts

This time around I'm not available but, considering this is the third time you're searching for an artist but despite the vast number of people that offered on your two older posts (114 - 210) and yet you haven't found an artist...

Do you have a specific artstyle in mind?
What do you consider Professional / High-Quality enough for your standard?
Can you provide a Title or sample of the art style you're looking for so maybe you can narrow down the applicants?
Is there a series whose artwork you liked enough to say that's where you wanna go with your own projects?

If you have to like the art, provide an idea of what that looks like so the rest can have an idea. Of course, this is not to offend you but with each rejection to many people who is in fact high quality and professional enough that I've seen offering, I don't think anyone has an idea here of what you like.

Hey, you do know there is this professional skill called imitating a style. You don't need to look for people who specifically draws the style you want, of course I understand people may not be able to deliver the pieces you want every time but I've looked at the comics you've mentioned in your post. Comparing it to the people who try applying here it's not difficult to tell someone to give you paid sample art so both the artist and the client knows if it's doable. Think of it like a paid interview.

If that doesn't help you then I don't know what to say. No one can help you.

I DM my links, I dunno if my style matches your requirements but it still worth it to try.

there are a lot of great artists here who have agreed to a low rate of $8 per panel. I'm surprised you haven't chosen anyone yet.

I actually mentioned the series in the ad Elceed, god of high school, solo leveling, and the terror man. The style needs to be at on least the same level of those.

Yeah and that's what I almost went with before and it was a waste of time and money. I had to teach the artist how to differentiate between male and female and then help them develop female body types. They were used to their style and I spent more time helping them develop this new one and that it wasn't worth it in the end.

Also just because you think they're good doesn't mean they're good for my vision. (there were a few who were great, but their range for what I need wasn't there) My goals and ambitions aren't meant to die in canvas or the corners of tapas or some other site.

So I have to keep looking. I have been contacted by a few this time who seem a bit higher skilled than the previous ads brought in.

I have however possibly found two hopeful Candidates today. A team and someone who's cta was amazing. So hopefully we can get things moving soon

But that's what you're offering in a best-case scenario situation  $1000 per episode / 120 panels = $8.3 per panel. If I take the lowest you offer for an episode it's even worse (500/120=$4.1)

perhaps some would be OK drawing a panel for that little money, but from what you say there might be a lot of back and forth between you and the artists, which doesn't sound worth that money. Do you have a script with clear descriptions of what you want your artist to draw? That might ease some of the worries people might have.

Yes I do.
My scripts are clear, and I even include rough sketch outlines for things that might need them. So there's no trouble in that regard.

Well, it's good that you found some people. We were all just concerned about what you meant by "high quality" considering there were in fact some good artists on this thread. Like, you were giving me mixed signals here. Could've just clarify that you wanted someone who can differentiate women and men in their illustrations. I legit thought you wanted to hire a nonexistent artist. lmao
