How bad is the X-mas advertising in your area?

The commercials and stores have been going full force since the end of Halloween. I think the commercial that really makes me cringe is the Home Depot commercial where the family caves in & buys an inflatable CHRISTMAS DRAGON to please their kid(Christmas Dragon? I'm checkin out...). I find it amazing and appalling as f**k that commercialism is being pushed to the max- but folks wages cant even afford it; we'll go into the new year broke and in debt.

Starts around early October around here in the South East US. Thanksgiving isn't really mentioned as much around here as much as Black Friday. It hits full swing around Halloween day. It's all about commercialism and in my area with a metric ton of lower class people who blow all their paychecks on Christmas, it just adds insult to injury. To be honest TV's also a living hell this time of year as well, seeing as everyone plays the same damn Christmas special and then you're forced to watch Lifetime or Hallmark Christmas movies with the family but that's neither here nor there.

I'm not exaggerating I started seeing X-mas stuff since September. We have our independence holidays on September 16th, right after that celebration was over some malls put winter decorations and some Christmas stuff!! They put some stuff for Halloween but it lasted weeks.

It's not terrible yet but I expect all hell to break loose come Thanksgiving.
But what really shocked me was a car already had a tree on its roof when my husband and I were out Sunday. It's like, WHERE did he even get that yet?

The Walmart has Christmas trees up already

In my little Town of Italy still nothing.
That's weird because usually around this time of the year you would se fairylights decoration on top of the streets and christmas market advertising.
I was thinking about partecipating into my local X-mas market but nobody would be interested in prints during a christmas event i guess XD

They put the illuminated snowflakes on the light poles the last week of October and turned them on at night from November 1st. I MEAN... I love the whole idea of a massive holiday lump so not complaining, haha^^

I remember seeing a the Christmas section at Menards about early-mid October round' here in Wisconsin.
I love Christmas, but this is more than a little excessive!

Let's just say there is a jingle for 'Christmas in summer'...that is how early the christmas stuff starts here O_O Then on September they already selling the christmas stuff (Kmart here had the trees and everything out already, with the Halloween stuff to the side in a corner).
