How do you come up with your episode titles?

I like titles that can sound like something else, and both things still have meaning to the chapter.

Example BLOOD EYES:

BLOOD EYES serves as the Prologue to the reboot of my comic, following Alex Razor who can shoot laser beams, usually from his eyes, although making so does hurt his vision.
The "blood" part can sound like "blue", and the second title BLUE EYES refers to both Simon Makenki's eyes, colored blue, and blue as in sad, regarding what connects both Simon and Alex despite not knowing each other yet.

English is not my first language, so I may stretch some stuff a little when it comes to these titles, but is something I've been liking to do since making what we can count as the "alpha" of my comic

I'm a huge Jojo fan, so I was inspired to use songs.

All chapter titles are song titles from my spotify list that also have some meaning related to the events of the chapter.

I began splitting my chapters in two and keeping with the musical theme I'm calling them SIDE A and SIDE B

Personally, I try and set up a theme with my chapter title. Like 'Dawn Peeks' and 'Slivery moon'. As you already get a feel for the chapter before you even read it.

I only name Volumes not per episode, but how I decided on the title was since my story is taking place as a first person point of view I think of what the character is feeling in that volume

My episode titles are a bit more abstract and usually refer to whatever is happening in the chapter in a metaphorical or literal sense. (ie "Surfacing" for a chapter where a major plot point is revealed, "Spades" for a chapter referencing a vision involving spades, etc.) 🛸

I mostly just number my pages and that's it. For my bigger comic I started with a letter and then a number.

I just take a good read at the chapter's script, and then I try to identify the "problem" of the chapter. It might be about the main issue the characters are facing, or about the situations the characters find themselves in and/or keep mentioning to each other. I do this with the intention to leave unanswered questions in my readers minds, and maybe have something constantly tingling in the back of their heads.

My episodes usually follow a two-part naming convention inspired by the style of titles that a lot of anime use.

I choose something that conveys the tone of the episode and an event in it, but try to avoid outright spoiling the end. There may be punchlines (or wham moments in serious episodes) I want readers to see for themselves!

The first episode is “A Blast to the Past! Here’s to a New Beginning!” since it portrays travel to the past, and marks the beginning of the reboot!

I also throw in puns, pop-culture and music references when I spot an opportunity for them! (I.e: “The Space-Time Continuum Crashes? It’s the End of the Timeline As We Know it!” and “Summoning a Fearsome Witness? Hells Bells!”) Some music titles came from looking through my music library for inspiration!
