How do you create your fight scenes?

Really depends on the fighter.

I don't have the patience for in depth research but when I design a fight scene, I like to consider every aspect.
This character might use their hat to blind the opponent, or another character might go for a leg strike cause they're short.

It really depends on the size and personality of the characters, whether they'll go for underhanded techniques or they just don't have any combat training.

John Wick was big on accuracy

John Wick is a good movie (1st part) but I can't see it's action scenes with serious look. Heat movie for example is far more accurate portrayal of action IMHO (and one of my favorite movies).

And Hollywood magic is fine, but not when it's too much altering reality, but again, it's IMHO.

That should be expected since Heat is a fantasy plot happening in the real world.
John Wick is a fantasy plot happening in a fantasy world.
Unless you believe every 5th person is an assassin.

In context, the GUN PARTS showed attention to detail and didn't stray super-far into fantasy land.

John Wick universe have auto-leveling system like Skyrim. It not that every fifth person am normally assassin, it just that way when John Wick in area.
