How do you feel about "first" comments?

I never got them when I was on Tapastic but when I moved to LINE Webtoon they started coming in. At first I was like, "Oh okay, my content is worth someone being excited about being first to..." but then it quickly changed. Especially on days when I wasn't doing so great with comments and I just wanted some feedback - so after waiting for a while to get a single comment to know how they received it, you have someone basically tell you, "I don't really care so much about your content, but I'm really impressed with myself that i'm first". I know this is probably like a first world problem and a bit of an exaggeration but it can get annoying from time to time.
What do you think about this?

I get them from time to time, I don't actually have anything against them to be honest, they used to happen more often on LINE, but they have been showing up here on Tapastic more often as well.

My editor gets mad at them though. It's kinda funny to hear him flip out about it.

There's a professional Korean webcomic where the creator posted "first!!!" comment on their own comic, once. XD It was absolutely golden. Makes me wonder if they got just a li'l annoyed at all the "first!" comments and wanted to poke fun at it in a harmless way.

I'm pretty indifferent about "first" comments. I never really understood people's need to post those, especially when it's not followed by any other commentary, but whatever. XP

I find them obnoxious tbh : P Like, no one cares if you're first comment (I haven't received such comments luckily) If it ever happens to me, I'd probs just delete them to leave my comment section tidy

they suck when you don't get that much feedback as is. but then again why would anyone feel the need to post one on a comic that doesn't gets tons of comments...? it's a bizarre old meme too. why is this still a thing lmao

I feel like they're kind of pointless, especially when the sorting algorithm (is this the right terminology? idk) for comments isn't based on chronological order but who gets the most upvotes. In any case, if they say "first!" and then add some commentary on the comic, fine. But it really irritates me when people only comment first. What's the point? I don't get it.

It happened only once to me, to which I replied "congrats." :'D It looks cheerful/neutral, but if they could hear the tone of my reply, it would be more sarcastic XD
But I know those types of comments, I saw them a lot on other sites, to which some escalated with people replying which number they are "second!", "Third!" and so on. SOmetimes it's funny, but usually it's just meh.

I would get them on deviantart since my gallery is a wasteland and no one comments and it's pretty fun when some 10 year old posts "first" on all my work because they discovered the internet that day.

It was cute in 2001, now it's just annoying.

I find them pointless and a little bit annoying. Absolutely no one cares that you got to post the first comment at this point, and you accomplish nothing by posting it.

At least the people who just post "nice" as a comment are leaving their opinion on my work. "First!" is just... pointless.

I actually got my first, uh, 'First' comment recently, and I ignored it, but another reader actually called them out for wasting the comment! X'DDDD

I got it so often I don't even bother all that much anymore and glide right pass it (mostly on Webtoon) I don't really have to say anything LMFAO Even other readers might get annoyed at a "first" comment too because I often see quite an amount of dislike on them :""""D

Like they don't bother me too much but I always wonder if the person who posted hasn't developed their humor past 2001.

I was bothered by them when I was 15, but at 28, anymore it's just one of those things people have always done on the internet and always will do on the internet, so spending too much time thinking about it isn't something I really do anymore. Granted I've never gotten any myself, but I doubt my opinion will change if I ever do.
