Well since they're pumping them out at a slightly unnerving rate in recent years (especially this year with The Lion King and Aladdin etc), what movie/show/novel/manga do you think actually deserves a modern retelling/reboot? And if you were in charge, what would you do to make sure it doesn't crash…

How would I go about a getting a commission?

In the past year, Line Webtoon has stopped paying me for my comic as they bumped up the threshold from 3000 subs/5000 views a day to 1000/40,000 views a day which I think is ridiculous. So at the moment I'm looking for a good way to support myself with my art (mind you I do have a patreon, but it ha…

As someone who has been doing horror comics for the past 2-3 years, it has been sad to see how the genre has been overlooked in the illustrated format and so proportionately, fewer people attempt to create stories of this nature. I believe horror provides such a goldmine into exploring the human psy…

Here's mine from my horror comic, please.com: [image]

Here's my horror webtoon:

Here's my new horror comic!

Hey everyone! I just started a new comic called 'please.com' which is the mysterious story of these human-like creatures that people are addicted to eating. I'd love to know what you think! You can check it out here: please.com [image]

Here's my body-horror comic which I have just finished the first book in the series of: Lacrim:

I've asked this before, but now I am up to this point, I think I would like some fresh advice. So I just finished the first installment (after hundreds of episodes) in my webcomic series and I am abut to start the sequel. Now, do I create a new series, separate to the first one or just continue it o…

When you writing the script for your comic or plan for your story and realise you have just pulled a solution to the HUGE problem out of the air in your story just because...ummm...yeah just because... It gets bad when you realize this way down the track after you've published your work.

So the sequel to my comic story is about 20 years in the future, society has changed, new characters but some the same. They are both intrinsically linked but both can stand alone. What should I do? - continue the episodes from the last chapter of the first comic? OR -start a new one?

I just started making some merch as my readers are really keen for it so I decided to use Redbubble for it. If you've had experience with this site, please share.

When I started out with my horror comic on Tapas (Tapastic back in the day), I met a person on here who is now a pretty big name on Webtoons. They gave me great advice and recommended that I extend my reach by also going on Webtoons. At the time, I think I had about 200 subs on Tapastic but then goi…

So basically, is there risk at all in just going for your life with making t-shirts and selling them for my comic?

For my horror comic, I have received requests over the time it has been running for plushies of the monsters that appear in the story. I was wondering whether anyone has tried this. - What are the logistics of doing this? Company or commission? - Is it cost effective? (as in the market) Thanks!

Buffers are good until something dramatic comes up in your life. I used to have a buffer of 15 episodes - but then some family stuff happened and it went to nothing...

I heard that it might be possibly extended but it is all a bit vague...

I had a real big crappy day yesterday, the one where everything goes wrong and so I turned to my comic and let it all out through creating. My comic is a horror story with a vast collection of horrible creatures that I make so I decided to create the most horrible one I could think of - that was so…

I was thinking the other day, how long my comic will actually exist on the internet for. They say that once something's on the internet, it's there forever but I thinks it's funny to imagine 70 year old me just casually looking up my comic. A part of me hopes I've made some kind of mark on the inter…

Thanks so much this has been super helpful! And yay! (I'm Australian)

This is given that I don't live in an area where I'm close to a place where I can do this. So what does it involve logistically? How does double-page spreads work? Any other tips? I'd love to know (I have asked this before but I'd like a fresh take on it)

Doing a daily comic with about 5 pages uploaded daily, I do roughly 4 hours/day or between 25-30 hours/week.

So a main character, who due to a huge fight and different circumstances has his clothes torn from him and there is a panel where we see his butt....... Do I NSFW it?

So guys, I'm at the end of the road for my comic and after 300 episodes, I'm at the finale! I came up with my idea for the finale ages ago and wanted it to be really epic and so it's interesting to see how it is now looking and I wonder whether my younger self would approve of what I've drawn. How…

This is something that is quite common but indefinitely annoying. Just recently looking at some of my older episodes and I've just noticed this one person who has gone to all my episodes (and I have hundreds) and left a negative comment.... yet they keep on reading. I know this isn't uncommon but ma…
