Fiverr is what I like to call a snowball.
Most of the time artists need to start with low prices, even at the point of being underpaid if they want to get people hiring them and let's not forget that Fiverr takes a fee from your work.
On top of that, it's important to know that there is a period of time where the money is frozen and you're unable to touch it until a few days, and once you're able to pass it to your bank account or paypal, there is another fee.
Besides that, which is the most important part regarding working there is that you have to be super attentive to messages from clients, and in some cases you're the one that has to be the last to respond or even be exactly accurate to your deadlines because it can affect your status (all of this including ratings, performance and quality)
It's easy to create your gigs, different tiers based on what you can offer, samples, categories and such. In terms of presentation, it's easy to make your services look decent.
Personally speaking, I've tried Fiverr both with my original prices for commissions, and the snowball method. The first one didn't work, and while the second did, it wasn't as profitable as me just going through discord servers, facebook groups, twitter threads, deviantart's forum or even reddit and getting commissioned there.
Sometimes, you even end up overworking yourself but the price is definetly not worthy. Is good if you're barely starting or if you need some quick-chewing gum-cash
