Considering the wide audience of Webtoons, it would be a very nice webcomics platform. Sadly, it's not really? The interface isn't good, you don't even get notified of whenever someone comments on your webcomic (and as someone who doesn't get a lot of comments, it'd be nice to get notified so I don't have to check all the time), and, as I learned recently, readers don't even get notified when something in the episode has changed, unlike in Tapas.
Let's also not forget the comment section is seriously the worst. The comment section is relatively anonymous, so it's a like a mini, younger version of 4chan down there sometimes. A lot of readers seem to think they are entitled for the comics the creator is making. Once sorted by new and saw a thread about someone demanding the creator of The Devil is a Handsome Man (which has been on hiatus for a year now and no one really knows why) for the new season and, when someone mentions the author might still be grieving from the death of a loved one, their reply was "well it shouldn't take a year for someone to grieve" LIKE IT'S THEIR BUSINESS??? Oh, yea, there isn't a block button in Webtoons either. I don't know how effective the report button is either, and you can't turn off the comment section.
Webtoon staff from what I've seen seem to be lovely people and the site actually gives lots of opportunities to creators, which is mainly why I haven't switched to Tapas, which I much prefer, haha.
