How does it feel when you've reached or exceed your personal milestone?

As the title suggests, how does it feel when you exceed your personal milestone on Tapas? Not like the 25 or 250 sub milestone but your personal one. Say for example you started your novel or comic and you set your goals high or low.

Low if you don't have much expectation for it and you expect to have at least 10-20 subs. High if you really want your series to do so well like 100-300 subs. Say that not only did you got there but you also exceed by getting double or triple the amount of subs. How does it feel? That all of your hard work and pulling some all-nighters really paid off. Because that's honestly how I felt after I reached 100 subs on my series on Tapas.

Share your thoughts about this. I would like to know how you guys felt when you've reached your milestone in your series.

For more the ultimate is recieving fanart..A fellow creator @rifftiff included my OC's in her comic when she was selected for community pick as I had vouched for her. She didnt tell me and I was reading her comic when I came across my OC's in the background as well as than thank you note . I got so overwhelmed, I cried for a good 15 minutes.

My milestones weren't sub numbers but just...page numbers. It was nice because...that was a milestone I made all on my own to have a comic with 100+ updates, so I feel rather proud of it. Didn't need to rely on anyone else or any algorithm or whim of the internet lottery to make that happen. It was just my working hard on something in order to make 1-2 pages a week, and it's nice to have a milestone that I can't be like "well that was random that this happened" na, it was just work.

Can't reach your personal milestone if you don't have any actually, that's not totally true, sub wise I never had a milestone in mind cus I'm writing primarily stuff I enjoy, but writing wise I really want to get to 100 pages so I can tell myself I didn't bail on a project for once

When I started posting, I wasn't expecting much. I had stalked the forums for a couple days before making an account and knew to set my expectations low. My 'big goal' was 100 subscribers before the end of my novel... I was blown away by how many people read and enjoy my novel! Especially since it was just a novel to explore topics that I wanted explore and was supposed to only be a 'for my eyes only' type book but my friend (and beta reader) really insisted I post it somewhere and recommended Tapas. I was so unsure but this was the best decision! Every time I get people commenting about how much they love my one character or hate the bad guy or being like 'kiss already' it's the most thrilling thing for me! I literally laugh out loud and get the stupidest grin on my face when I get the 'comment' notifications

My personal goal has honestly just been to never give up. My series is my entire creative world and these characters are like my children. Continuing to expand on their world has been such a joy and... I'm already up to ch.20! That is a huge accomplishment for me. (Ch.20 comes out tomorrow!)

Obviously reaching a milestone feels great The only real one that I had for my first comic was finishing... and when I made it to the end, man was that a rush lol. Took a little over a year for 70 pages but it was a fun process and it's super satisfying to have a finished thing.

It wasn't really set in stone but I was also really happy and celebrated passing 100 subs as well.

I'll have to think about different types of goals for my upcoming comic since by nature it doesn't have a certain/defined end point though. Hmmmm

I feel so happy. Like the all the hard work is worth it. I mean I have fun with my story and love it, but it does feel nice to reach milestones <3

I am not used to success, so I feel deeply grateful when I see a new sub or open the story to see new likes or comments!

I'm so much into the grind that I haven't been keeping up with personal milestones. But I have noticed a lot of progress with my art as I go, and without even realizing I've made over 130 pages in a year. That's so nuts to me. I never thought I would make it this far.

My main goal is to keep making pages on the regular. Its hard, they are full color and I also have other obligations. But I've been doing it for the most part. Even while traveling I will get some work done. Having an iPad has helped a lot with this.

The next milestone will be to make through Act 1. And that's not too far off from where I am now. I'm also hoping to get more patrons and subscribers.

I guess in webtoons i was surprised when i reached 1k subs in a couple of series.

I don't really think about milestones, but in terms of a goal.

My goal is to make money/living from art/comic/whatever, since i never got to that level, i can't say i ever reached my goal.

For me, milestones such as subs, views, or likes don't really contribute that much, as subs can easily become dead subs, or doesn't matter the views, if i never reached enough views to be available for ads, but well that's just me.

thought i myself haven't got up to anywhere significant, mostly past 25 subs, but when i hear someone likes my work it is gratifying
