How is every body feeling about the Tapas AF journey?

A touch confident? Really my main goal is to make it through the first round of judging. I think I have a decent shot at that, not really getting any further tho I think.
I was super worried abt the chapter quota, at first I was making them super fast but I slowed down a few weeks back and so I was worried till like 2 days ago when I finished ch 20.

Not that confident, but whether I win or not I'm still happy that I have a new series now that I think could become something epic

The stories on the entry list are sorted by subscriber count, and I'm number 47 on that list, so I'm fairly confident that I'll make it through the first round. My problem is the voting round, because I have no social media presence whatsoever, so my story promoting is limited to this forum and whatever Tapas decides to do for the contest. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I'm feeling nervous, honestly. Posted Chapter 36 today, but there are so many wonderful stories submitted, so I'm not sure if mine will make it to the next round. Over 250 submissions are up so far, with only around 30 minutes left to submit. Here's hoping everyone makes it in on time.

Definitely glad it's finally over (at least the writing)! I can't wait to take a bit of a break and work on rebuilding my buffer. I don't really have too many expectations, but I'm glad I got to participate at the very least since I got meet so many other creators and really pushed myself to grow my novel. I honestly couldn't imagine a better start to publishing my novel here.

I feel nervous, but thankful to the readers who gave my novel a chance even if I don't make it past the first round. I'm glad I used the tourney to push me into starting the story, and I think I'll be continuing it no matter what. Definitely also glad to take a break and make buffer chapters for now though lol.

Does anyone know whether we're still allowed to post chapters (if we already hit the 20 chapter quota) now that the submission window is over? the rules say no edits can be made to the submissions. does that mean we can't edit existing chapters for grammar or whatever, or that we can't add new chapters or both?

Hi! yes i emailed the team and they confirmed you can continue to post chapters but editing the submitted chapters for the contest is not allowed. Hope that helps

I have a question about the AF Tourney rules. In the contest rules it states, "Once a Contest Entry is submitted it cannot be modified by an Entrant." Does that mean that if I add more chapters after October 24, I will be disqualified? Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your quick response.

Thanks for reaching out to Tapas Support! As long as you've uploaded a minimum of 20 chapters by the end of the contest any additional chapters you add afterward won't affect your eligibility! However, once a Contest Entry is submitted it cannot be modified or edited, so you won't be able to edit previous chapters once the submission period ends.

Though you are free to make your own inquiry.
