How is everyone’s Patreon doing these days?

Hey Guys

Life has been hectic and only just getting back into the swing of things.

I’m considering setting up a Patreon again and also potentially supporting others, how is everyone’s Patreon pages doing at the moment?

Mine is doing ok. I'm actually surprised to have gotten a couple new people in the past few months to go for my middle tier which is just reading ahead on my current comics.

To be totally honest I make about $30 a month and currently use it as a bonus payment on my credit card debt. Anything to make it go away faster.

I make about $14 a month which is honestly more than I was expecting just starting off. I post a comic with about 3k subs on webtoon. If you're interested here's the link.

I need to work on some extre pay-to-read pages for holidays and stuff but it's so hard to find time with school and work.

i make $2, kinda low but thats what i get for not actually having anything to offer for rewards

It's kind of new. Only at 5$ per month right now but it's a start. I have a bunch of various rewards and such. Just need to expand readship I suppose to find the people that want to kick a buck to support my work. If it gets a bit higher I'll be able to justify putting in the hours each week it would take to make a weekly update instead of biweekly which I'd like to do If you're interested:

More or less contented with it considering I've only been offering two tiers with basic rewards as of yet.
(mainly extra artworks, drawing from the community tab, character profiles, and HD+textless episodes)

One of my patrons has been exceptionally generous and supporting that I decided to reach out and offer them a big commission as a thank you for their continued generosity : > This sparked the idea that if a patron reached a milestone of either X number of months or $$$, I'll offer them a commission as a thank you.

I've been having a bunch of ideas of two new manageable tiers but that'll have to wait until i schedule enough posts for the current ones. And speaking of which, just recently i realized higher tier supporters don't actually see everything else in the lower tiers unless i manually give the higher tier patrons access to every single lower tier post fml hahaha

On the flip side, I might also just go ahead and turn on the permanent "Pay Upfront" option cuz i'm starting to lose patience with pledge dodgers... : )))

A word of advice.

Please.
Please please please...
Let your $1 tier be your "Pay whatever you want" donation tier, with a "my eternal gratitude" flavor text.
Not only a $1 is EXTREMELY LOW but you would get even less with the Patreon fee cut if you don't have a founders' account already.

Less tiers with higher reward value and $$$ differences > so many tiers with incremental differences.
( $3 tiers be damned! PLEASE don't shy away from a proper $5 tier at least. $5 isn't much either! People are willing to support a creator they love! )

Oh and, please go ahead and feature some tags at the side of your page! don't make it look so dead D :

I don't have the best Patreon page and everyone's situation is different, but i encourage you to have a look at how i organized stuff. Get some ideas to help you out. I don't mind

I second the $1 tier begin your tip jar, and yes, tags, tags are your friends.
