Yes, please don't give up.
I have been on Webtoon since 2015. I treasured my first 100 subscribers dearly. I have made 3 series on there, one got over 6k subscribers for months before the limit changed, but I couldn't get any support from their Patreon programme because... well, the main thing is my series wasn't appealing to US readers.
Over the years, I've seen many creators leaved discouraged. I loved many of their series that were truely interesting, unique, like they enjoyed every minute they made them. But well, yes, artist needs food and encouragement too.
And yes, it's really sad to see when there are blatant favouritism.
The only thing that made me keep going is that I've learned to draw better, and I've became busy to the point I understood my time to draw will be more and more limiting. Until the day I'll have to quit my dream to tell stories. My readers over the years were very kind.
One day, I'll have to keep my stories only for myself.
But I don't want anyone to feel my broken dreams. So if you can and you love what you do, please keep going forward. So you may not regret to have stopped trying.
I wish you the best.
