I recently went through and edited my finished novel. Right now it's updating on tapas in installments. DAYS. It took me about two hours a day for a week to read through it. Granted, I was also doing the ebook formatting.

I think that's still pretty short. I've gotten feedback that my writing style is easy to read. I write in like a slang vernacular and a lot of my novel is dialogue, which goes quick.

mmmm 15 minutes probably? Assuming you're not trying to bullrush it lol I'm about 54 pages into it but I try to keep the flow good and I don't like to make giant exposition or dialogue dumps and instead focus on how the characters would engage with each other naturally.

When people ask me to talk about my story I generally just copy- paste my summary because that's why I wrote it that way lol There's a lot more to it but the core of the conflict in the story is something I want to build up to over the course of the first chapter so subscribe and read and see! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Mana wells power society into its technological age but their reach is limited. Runners are the trained couriers that transport important packages and messages between cities. But the space outside the safety of the mana wells between cities is a dangerous place.

For my novel, I have to binge read it, and after 5hrs, I'm still reading soooooo... Yeah. It's a long baby. But I'm always in "editor mode" while reading casually, just looking for little typo's and such.

None of my comics have been published anywhere yet, but my traditionally made comic which is about 135 pages long as of now took me about 2.5 hours to read (though I think it would take the average reader closer to 1.5 hours as I tend to look at panels for a longer time).

There are around 7 panels on each page. I started working on it a year and a half ago and I put it on hold for some time so I could work on another, this time digitally made series.

As for the other series, it's currently 32 pages long (I started drawing it on the 4th of March) with an average of four panels per page. It takes me around 20 minutes to read through everything so far.

It probably wouldn't take more than 20 to 30 minutes to read. I have 3 and 1/3 chapters out at the moment. About 30 pages per chapter, 4-6 panels per pages, not too many scenes of a lot of dialogue or complex lore.

I usually take about 3 hours for 100 pages (depends on difficulty I guess) and my story is about 150 including the bonus stories I think, so I think 4.5? Maybe less if I'm really in a reading flow

Aaaaages, because I’ll spot mistakes or things I could draw better and have to find a notepad and make notes about it. :joy::see_no_evil:

I’m not sure how long it would take someone else to read.

I can finish mine in an hour, its 14 episodes so far with some extra art pages scattered in between.

Mine's a comic and it would probably be around 5-6 hours, give or take, if I tried to read it all in one sitting. I know that some readers have told me it's taken them a few weeks to get through it all in smaller chunks of time since it is over 1175 pages long.

I can't read, so I only look at the pictures for a couple minutes and move on with my day

I am halfway done with my novel as of the moment and it oughta take me 3-4 hours to read.

Sometimes when I'm working on a current episode I tend to binge read my series and it takes me around 40-50 minutes !! So far I have 13 episodes uwu

I haven't really estimated, but I would probably guess around 45 min to an hour to read all 14 currently available episodes:

Going into it, I thought maybe 20 minutes with how I just started my comic back in August...
It's only 10 minutes???? h e l p??? (It does make sense it's halfway through chapter 2 with only 29 pages so far well-)
