The Misadventures of Rowen and Company Came to me when I was 12, I still have pages that are on lined paper. The style predates the comics though, I created it when I couldn't draw boys or hands, as a way to formulize the process. Boys used to have oval heads with hair jutting down awkwardly (this was covered up with a well placed hat or pair of goggles, there's a reason why Rowen has a bandana!), and the girls would have teardrop shaped heads. Luckily, the style has progressed with my skills.
Fey Hollow and Woodall Tales Formulated around the same time. I was 14, Harry Potter and Manga had just started to creep into my subconscious, I was also cranking out tons of story ideas. They had entirely different styles and formats at the time; Fey Hollow was a little boring, and the stories in Woodall Tales were entirely fictional (almost fringing on fantasy). Over time the comics were dropped, picked back up again, and yet again dropped 'til they became what they are today.
Last, but not least, Chronicles of Edmund was created before I was even born! Edmund had been one of my Father's Role playing characters, he played around with the idea of developing a story around the character, never really finishing anything. Years later my Mother picks it up, and writes basically a prologue from her character's (Edmund's wife) perspective. From then on they began working together to produce a story. They were considering whether or not to turn the story into a comic when I signed on (I was like 15-16) solidifying that decision.
