I've been writing for years, but have been too scared to share my work with people online. Thanks to my sister's recommendation, I've decided to just go for it here.
My work can be found here.

I can't seem to get away from the two boys and one girl dynamic when it comes to my main characters. Plus, within that dynamic, the boys almost always end up together and the girl is always either the sister to one of them or a friend who is practically a sibling. I have tried to break this habit,…

The first one I think of is my anxiety. Because of it, interacting with other people is incredibly difficult, and I second guess everything I do or say in someone else's presence. I have to challenge myself to use social media or interact online (like posting here), and sharing anything I've written…

I'd say all of my novels are pretty light. I won't link them all here, just my current project (don't want the post to be too long).

That sounds horrible. Hopefully, you'll be able to pull through and be able to write again in the future (whether it be alone or as part of a group again). If you're still looking for novels to read, I've got a few on my account. I'm not going to post all of them here, but the one that I'm working…

I've experienced a sudden decrease in traffic, which is sad, since this is a story I'm very passionate about.

The first result I got was my twitter. Second was Tapas. Then, further down the page were results for fanfictions I had forgotten I'd written. Some of them were incomplete, which was kind of embarrassing. I use the same username everywhere, and have for years, so I guess it's no surprise I've forg…

I tried it for the beginning of the first chapter of Road to Lamark. [image] In the end, only one sentence even resembles the original. It's kind of scary.

I've been fascinated by Greek mythology since I was ten years old, and I've consumed a lot of media based on it since then. While I agree that it seems to be everywhere, I've noticed that it's all based on just a handful of stories. There are so many other myths that haven't been referenced, and bec…

I've seen the spirit of a woman in white a few times, as well as what I think are tree spirits in the woods near my house. I've also heard voices whispering on occasion. I was freaked out the first few times it happened, but now I either just ignore sightings/sounds, or I discuss them with the few…

Definitely. Maybe it's because I write a lot of slice-of-life, but I approach the matter with the mentality of 'death is a part of life, and being a main character doesn't make them immune'. Right now I'm working on an large story that will span four books and has twelve main characters (three per…

My comic's anniversary isn't until October, but I already have a plan for it. The art has really changed since I started, so I'm planning to re-do the first strip as a 'looking at the past through rose tinted glasses' kind of thing. As for milestones in general, when I hit 50 strips I got my co-wr…

My inspiration can be traced back to a childhood fascination with Greek Mythology (that never went away) and research I did on blindness for a school project. Since Apollo is one of my favourite gods and I remembered reading somewhere that the oracle of Delphi was blind, I decided that I wanted to …

For me it all depends on motivation and if I know exactly where the story is going and how it will get there. Sometimes everything just flows and I can get five chapters done in one sitting (roughly three hours, but I don't always check what time I start and finish). Other times (when I'm not motiva…

She is so cute!!! Thank you so much, it looks great. I love it.

I like it too. Your art style reminds me of something from when I was little, but I can't for the life of me name what it is. Whatever it is, I'm really enjoying seeing all of your drawings of everyone's characters.

If you're not too swamped with requests, could you maybe try drawing Lucy? She's a six year old water elementalist. [image]

I love threads like this! If you wouldn't mind, could you try drawing my character Noah? (he's the one in front) Important thing about Noah: He's blind, so his eyes are unfocused. [image]

For Road to Lamark, Lamark is the name of the ultimate destination the three main characters are journeying to. The destination is named after a city in Greek Mythology where heroes could go to rest and recover, which is significant to the story.

Probably one of the weirdest things my characters have done is when (and this isn't actually up yet, but it's been written and will be up next week) Noah threw a used barf bag at a monster.

If you're at all interested in Greek mythology, please take a look at my entry.

Here's the link to my entry. The tenth chapter goes up tomorrow, and I'll probably get two more out before the end of the camp.

My entry for this camp is Road to Lamark:

Those are really cool. I especially like Artemis.

I've read The God in the Field, it's good. Lore Olympus looks interesting too. I've found that the story of Hades and Persephone is the most commonly re-imagined story out there. For good reason though, it's really interesting and versatile.

I've been looking for novels inspired by Greek mythology. I started writing one myself, and it got me wondering about how other writers might interpret the myths or re-imagine them (or which version of a myth someone might choose to draw from). If you've got one, please share it with me. I'd love …

I'm not very good at writing love scenes (especially confession scenes), but I've struggled through them before. For me, when I create a couple (or people who will become a couple post story) it is very important that they have something other than attraction to forge a bond over. Sometimes I'll mak…

Yup, all digital. It's a lot easier than fighting with a scanner every time. It's worth the extra time it takes too, because it looks so much better. Best decision I ever made regarding the comic.

I still use my concept pieces to make sure I use the right colours when making new strips. [image][image] On the left is the original drawing (drawn by hand because I had no confidence in my digital skills) and on the right is one of her most recent appearances. Her headband looks a lot better now.
