I've seen come comics run for 10+ years in some cases. What about yours?
I personally have been working on a comic called "The Calamitous Misadventures of Osker" for the last 5+ years. Started it in September of 2015.
Got a prologue as well.
I first got the idea for this comic back in high school during my sophomore year, since then I have been experimenting and developing both the story and the characters that are involved. As for the publication, the comic has been on Tapas since October 2019 and will be two-years-old come this fall!
I think it's been close to a year now, and I'm almost halfway through! I planned it all to completion in one night last February, and I'm really happy about it's progress so far!
More than a year2020 was really hard also because of making comic https://tapas.io/series/MADEElements
I started working on mine back around in 2015, then started posting pages in 2016 back when smackjeeves existed. I rebooted my comic 2020 back in July and I'm always working on rewriting old scripts and fixing up plot lines!
I've planned it for a while, but my comic first released a year ago yesterday!! (January 24, 2020)
Congrats on a year! going to check yours out
Yeah I totally know the struggle on trying to perfect your work, especially when you grow over those 5 years, then look back and cringe lol.
Five years each for Demon House and Heavy Horns. They are completed now.
There are so many scenes I look back on and wonder what the heck I was doing. Now most of the old scenes are fixed up so no more cringing for me!
4 years and counting! It's been through so much and I'm so proud!
Yeah I have reworked a few pages, I have several to complete as well before I'm truly satisfied. btw sent you a sub on webtoons since I already was subbed to your tapas
I hear ya! I couldn't even look at the 7th page of my webcomic and now it's one of my favourites.
Great artwork, going to definitely check them out.
I started working on When Souls Awaken in January of 2019 with no intention of ever publishing it but with constant encouragement from a couple friends I started publishing in November of 2020, and then started publishing it on Tapas in January! I'm almost at my first milestone on here for 25 subscribers!Check it out! Updates every Friday!
I'm starting this new comic, but is my third try

I would say I've been working on this series for maybe two years. The largest chunk of time was spent on part one and learning my style and preference with the series. Once I learned that, the rest of the series came much faster.
Just over 2 full years for Plastic Teeth. I estimate it will be around 7 years at least before I'm done.
Technically I started publishing it on May 2020, but I'm fixing some drawings and dialogues, so it re-started two weeks ago or so.
The general ideas come from 2008, but never started publishing until 2020.
Here's a timeline of the main character to show how long I've worked on the comic and how many versions there are of it. I don't remember when I started the first original concepts but the original comic started 2017. The webcomic remake was made in 2017, then I came up with ideas for a reboot in 2019. But the reboot was published in April of 2020.
