How long is your average episode?

My first chapter is 1.4k words. After that I've made sure to keep it between 600 to 1k words.

Wow, I have no experience in the novel aspect of story telling so sorry if this question sounds dumb but...
5k ~ 8k words cut down to 1k ~? Doesn’t that mean a lot of detail will get left out? Or does it not affect anything? How can you possibly cut down that many words??

I don't make a summary of 5k words to 1k, what i will do is to cut a 5k words chapter to 3-5 parts

Well, thats normal on fantasy themed novels (that's my main genere). Most novels, though, are about 80k.

Romance, thriller... those don't need as much worldbuilding as fantasy novels, so with less pages you can explain more proper story. Or that is what i think.
Even though, in my case, i almos don't do worldbuilding so i'm rewriting all to put some more details xD (had betatester complains about that ^^')

Episode is kind of a strange word for me. My first chapter was 47 pages each page is usually between 4 and 7 panels. Next one will be shorter for sure because I've cleaned up my writing and pacing since I put that chapter together. I would like to try and keep each chapter between 20 and 30 pages at most.

As tapas algorythms seem to favour more frequent updates, I'm releasing all 3 of my comics 1 page per release (usually around 6 panels per page), on other sites it's also page per (weekly) release - BDSM Boys, 10 pages once a month - Vampire Prince and 15-18 +cover monthly (but on patreon only, one page release twice a week everywhere else) - Horny Hell

Initially in my comic each episode was, on average, around 4-5 panels, I was doing it in vertical format so each update was a whole scene/gag with variable length. Now I'm structuring it in pages and update one page or two at a time (with 3 to 6 panels per page).
Then I'm also organizing it in chapters, so each chapter is about 8 pages. Ideally I would like longer chapters, around 16 pages, but I can't draw that fast and don't want to spend several months in a single chapter.

As a chapter (one story within an arc) it goes from 32 to 42 pages.
As an upload to tapas, it was 32 but changed it to 20 or so (so two uploads would complete a full chapter).

Too long, probably! I cap my chapters at 5,000 words maximum (and they're usually very close to that). So, for Tapas, I have to split everything in half, making an average episode somewhere between 10 and 14k characters.

I average out to get close to 20 pages. depending on the pacing it might go a little longer or shorter than that. Prologue had 28 pages while Chapter 1 only had 17 (If I made it longer I would feel like I'm just dragging it out.) While Chapter 2 is exactly 20 pages.

Once I get better and more experience my goal would be to average out 32 pages per Chapter (like an American Comics)

If each comic upload means an 'episode', then I post 6~9 pages all at a time, that's about 1/3 of a chapter.
