I've had over 500 + impressions and haven't seen cent move. Is this normal?
Your profit is calculated monthly, so perhaps that's why?

Eeuuughh, it might depend on the worth of the ads people are seeing on your pages? Using my own impressions to calculate, it's about .00007 cent per 1 ad impression. The CPM for ads is fairly low nowadays.
I've had a little over 5000 ad impressions this month and only seen 20 cents from it. i think that it calculates out to 1 penny per 250 impressions, but @joannekwan might be right in that different ads might have different worths? definitely contact tapas about it, they don't seem to have a direct answer under their faq
It's very normal to earn nothing from 500 ad impressions. I have roughly 2000 and have only made a few cents.It will accumulate over time though and you will start earning.Unfortunately the revenue rates have taken a bit of a dive.
From what I know, ads are only worth more if someone actually clicks on them, which isn't much more than a view.
Probably why Tapas added the coins currency to make support more viable.
I'm not well educated in this field, but do you guys think it would help if we were able to chose which adds we think our audience would like and possible click on?
I think I haven't seen anything until 700 views the past two months. I think somebody said on one of the previous threads that bots are causing the value to fall.
The ads are usually from google or other ad companies, which are often catered to the user.
You might get some unwanted ads in the process.Sadly there is no way to change the ad settings.
