How many stories are you working on? (+poll)

Well, I am only an artist and I am a slow artist, so technically I only work on one
But my writer already has 2 more stories almost completely ready, and he also has something like 10 more in this head of his. Too bad I don't have 20 more hours in a day to do them right now.
I also have one story of my own, which I work on at veeeeery slow pace for many years now, adding details and drawing art here and there... because I cannot make a complete plot, but I adore my characters
So in the end I voted 2, yupp.

Actively, as of now, I'd say 42 series. This is kinda the break down of the folders I have for the genres as well as the folders within each genre folder.

Currently, I have finished one main story My Demon Valentine (though, I am working on some bonus content for that), and still have Our Universe on-going. I do realize that a lot of these stories will not get finished until I finish Our Universe, so I just regularly work on their scripts and sketches so that I have something ready once I do. I see-saw back and forth between doing this so that each piece gets some attention.

I've mostly finished the scripts for the shorter series, and I believe once Our Universe is done, I'll just get to posting those and take a break from making another longer series.

I’ve got about 5 or 6. They’re mostly comics, but about two of them are novels. Oh, wait - I might have 8. It’s starting to feel like chasing a bunch of rabbits, which results in me catching none of them. I...need help and a chill pill.

I wish I can work on a comic universe. However, I'm not that good of an artist and can only draw to where my characters can be displayed.

Hmm depending on how I count them, 2-4.

I'm only actively working on my current comic on Tapas atm (as drawing it takes up all of the spare time I have to dedicate to art).

BUT slowly in the background I'm also working on the writing portions of the 2nd season of said comic (which, due to my series being episodic in nature, is like a separate story in my mind) as well as a longer separate series.

And then the 4th I probably wouldn't count, I'm involved in a small collab project that's kinda stalled out atm lol. So if we restart then yeah, but currently I'm not really "working on it", per se.

I toggled 2 to be conservative (Current comic (+ S2) & The other long form one).

I would be working on more if I wasn't drawing three of them into comics. Drawing pages just takes up far too much time.

When answering the questions I just keep it simple and use the comic series that I update the most often at the time.

Went 20+... but it's slightly misleading because it's a team of people working at different stages on short stories for our anthology series. Personally I'm only hands on at 5-6 at a time but usually end up involved with all of them at some point.

Lol if anyone is able to handle multiple story/comics at the same time kudos to them. I have tried it and haven’t been successfull because I end up losing interest and the reader suffers because it gets dropped. Recently happened too.

So with that being said, it’s important to focus on one and get it done before moving onto the next one. I come up with so many ideas but since comics take a very long time, it’s. Or wise to jump right into it so I keep them as ideas. I wish I write them down but I don’t and I end up forgetting and even if I did write it down, I end up losing it somehow.

So yea, I’m currently working on just one and I’m almost done and once I’m done, I’ll jump right into the new idea I have. And this new idea is epic. I’m excited and can’t wait to dive right into it. But before I do, I want to concentrate and grow the story and plot so I’m actually doing some writing.

One, but I want to be working on about 5 more now I've started one comic, I want to draw aaaaaalll the comics

2 comics, one novel. spire is my main series and sundown is kind of a secondary series. enccore, my other comic is kind of a weird case because its part of a tournament and is only partially planned through because so many last minute factors of the tournament itself contribute to how the story goes.

I'm currently posting one (which I've finished writing) and working on 3!

In the past, I've worked on multiple series and short stories at the same time before. I find that it's difficult to maintain audience interest since I work on each series/story in round-robin fashion and so the time between each chapters can be up to a few months!

So I've been dialing it back and maintaining my focus on one story. If I need a break from the story or get sudden bursts of inspiration for other stories, then I'll switch over for a day or two.

Edit: oh and as for forum posts, I think it'll depend on which story I want to market for that particular post.
