Just got my most recent chapter out for my comic and it took me a lot longer then usual. Simply because I had to get a job and make money, what a ridiculous world right?

I'd say I would get to draw about 4 hours, every 2.5 days, almost every week. Sometimes more if I'm lucky but it's just sad knowing I used to have so much extra time.

How much time do you think you spend creating a week?
Feel free to show off your creations! Here's my latest chapter of my comic Ragtime!

It depends on the week.

I work 2 jobs, one is mostly morning and the other in the evening. Between them I do have time that could be used for creative projects but some days I just don't have the energy. The last 2 weeks have been physically and mentally exhausting so I haven't produced as much.

But on average I would spend at least an hour everyday writing or editing (some days nothing, some days I go for hours)

Around two hours daily, but none of it is in one go. I have been busy with college entrances, so I hardly get even thirty minutes straight.

I´m drawing around 12 hours a day / every day at the moment but I will not continue that
when this comic is done. I have a deadline and need to get one colored page a day done

My day job is creating art for games, and my night job is creating art for comics, and those two tasks occupy nearly every waking moment of my life right now. On average I spend probably 16-18 hours a day making art, 7 days a week. I'm very tired hahaha

Usually I'd cramp in about 1-2 hours to work on art and writing everyday after work–or on some days when I have to stay up working till midnight, I'll sneak in a sketch or two during breaks.

Work's been easing up the past week, so I'm glad I got an extra few hours to draw.

If I have nothing else to do after work and not be too tired or have to do chores (or hang out with friends), roughly 2 to 4 hours.
Additionally, it depends if I'm in the mood as well.
On the weekend, the same as in the work week. But I can stretch it to 6-8 hours if possible.

About 2-2.5 hours daily? Depends on which day at the moment. I also have the weekends which grant me more time obviously.

The missus leaves for work at 6am and I usually can't get much sleep afterward, and I don't work until the evenings. So I generally do a few drawings unless I woke up with a drive to get specific panels done. I always wanna draw, so I have my tablet and app out, but I just kinda float in and out of watching videos/streams or playing games and drawing stuff. When she's home I don't really spend much time drawing.

So, let's say about 1-4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Yoooo I miss having all that extra free time to just do what I want bc my responsibilities were marginal or you know just schoolwork stuff. But cest la vie, I make the best of the time I do have, including when I'm not at home by having a mobile studio in my iPad! I get so much work done on my comic and art because of it, and often times the building block parts like scripting, editing, and thumbnails, or even flat coloring, so when I get home I can do dialogue/editing, refining my linework, brainstorming with hubby (nothing like having a live-in fan of your work <3) and the fun parts of coloring <3.

It's pretty hard for me to quantify the exact amount of time I get in a week to create since it really depends on how busy my work schedule is, but I always get @ least 8hrs, though that's not a great week. On an excellent week, I can get about 40+.

For me, it depends on the time of the year.

I own a small publishing company, and I teach a writing and disaster analysis course at my local university. For about 4-5 months of the year, around half my time belongs to the university. The other half is used for building my business. When I'm not teaching, I'm working on building my business and any professional commissions.

So, right now, most of my writing is close to full-time hours (in fact, I'm racing to get The Odyssey of Daiki Yamato finished before my main course prep starts next month). That said, it also all gets folded into my business in some fashion (so, I wrote Re:Apotheosis full time, but I then typeset it and prepared it for publication - the same will happen with The Odyssey of Daiki Yamato).

It's a fulfilling life, but also one where one doesn't make a huge amount of money. So, when it comes to doing what I do, your mileage may vary.

I'm a teacher which means I'm pretty busy during the week. But I still get around five-six hours each day to do whatever I want and weekends off (of course). My fiancé and I are both creatives so we spend most of our free time creating beside each other! (He'll be making his music and I'll be working on my series.)

Oof, my life isn’t all that busy, and yet I only find time at least twice a week to spend 5 hours creating new episodes for my series.

Unless there's something special going on or I am out of town, I always get about 30-60 min a day (usually around 9-10pm) to write. If I decide to draw illustrations instead, I just use that allotted time instead as needed. That's how it's always been since more than a year ago :\
