Btw. Google Docs are not that great as LibreOffice.

this is the first series I'm 100% commited to finishing and I'm halfway book one now, but I plan on having multiple books. Already have a few plotpoints I want to use for those though and I'm careful not to do anything that could directly contradict any of those plotpoints. Yeah, remembering stuff is a challenge, especially with details and unresolved threads, but I try to keep notes of those as I write.

omg haha, that's great. Idk, planning too much stuff out just doesn't work for me. Although... I once forgot I had named one of the side characters Lex already, so I named him Nick and had to go back to change Lex to Nick, so... mistakes happen.

It's something like Microsoft Office, but it's FOSS (Free and OpenSource Software). It's main Office app in Linux distros.

I usually write down all the characters, even the less important ones. My memory when it comes to names is a joke. I have trouble remembering someone's name 3 minutes after I've met them. Let alone fictional characters.

Oddly enough, I haven't actually planned my novel HAHAHAHA! I just go along with my gut as I move along the story, so I pretty much know nothing about my story. Sometimes I even get surprised at the things I write. Like, it would make me go, "I can't believe I just wrote that!" HAHAHAHA! So far, The Legendary Hero's Brother is not a mess YET! But please, please, please don't make your novels like I do because IT IS HELL!!! It's hard to keep up with a story that you haven't planned. Fr my initial prologue turned into 20 chapters, so I haven't began with the main plot yet AAAAAAHHHH!!! I can't believe I still have readers hahahaha!

No worries, of course! We should all read in our pace so we can all have fun while doing it! And thank you! Hahahaha but I certainly regret that move, and I do not recommend ANYONE to do my method hahahaha! It's so unnecessary, and now that I have uploaded a huge chunk of chapters, I can't take a step back anymore and re-plan the whole narrative. If I can turn back time, I wouldn't have done anything differently, but I would have probably taken a sweet, long time during the planning phase before publishing.

Meanwhile, the novel that I planned A LOT and am actually super passionate to write is ironically my more unpopular novel hahahaha! I have made A LOOOOOT of plans before I uploaded this novel, and it's pretty much done... I just need to write the chaps huhuhuhu! But I think the genre of this (horror) is the one that's really stunting its growth. But writing this is definitely soooo much easier because I now have a clear path to take hahahaha!

Hahahaha who knows, indeed? And yeah, it's all good! I get that a lot. Horror is just not really seen in a positive vibe because it most definitely is not a positive genre hahahahahaha! But if you ever wanted to, cry, stress, and cringe, then I GOT YA, PAL! HAHAHA!

I came up with the idea for my series about a year ago. It didn't really start to take form until around February of this year and I started jotting down ideas for it. I started typing the prologue late May/early June and i finally uploaded mid June. A lot of the ideas that I have I already planned out but more things get added as I think on them. I'm constantly writing down something that I want to explore. And oftentimes when i start writing, I'll notice I'm developing something that I intended to be super minor but I add it in and it works. I ultimately want this series to be two books, not my original plan, but there's a particular character whose story I want to develop more and it has no place in the one I'm writing now.

The idea for Maho no Ken I started having probably a few years before I started writing. I wrote the first either four and half chapter or five in half chapters then took a break. And then my laptop broke so I could write.

Maho no Ken was actually the reason I got a new laptop. I was reading some of what I wrote on my phone and I was really enjoying it. And wanted to continue so I did. That was something like a year ago. I didnt know about Tapas until April so even though I wanted my story to be read or I wanted to publish I figure there wouldn't be anyone looking for an Oeln (Orginal English light novel)

Anyway I have a lot of buffer for Maho no Ken and I have at least five to six arcs of varying chapter size planned out. I also moved the goal post of what the ending would be after noticing the flow and direction of my story.
