Hey everyone!

I have recently decided to publish my webcomic, and was wondering if anyone had tips or tricks I could use to reach a wider audience? I have a semi-interesting case because my comic is story-driven, and I plan on printing it once I am finished, and therefore can't constantly update it like a gag comic. How would you recommend growing an audience and keeping them engaged since i use a "cluster" format where I publish around 4 pages each at the beginning of each month?

If you want to check it out then go to:

I'm glad that I finally got over my fear of putting my comic out there for people to see, however feel free to not look at it if you feel like I'm only using this question to gain more views.

Thank you guys so much!

I'll link a few recent threads that may be useful :>

The main disclaimer about advertising your comic externally is that while it's possible to increase your views quite a bit, getting people to interact (sub/like/comment) is difficult. Someone who follows a link from reddit, for example, probably doesn't have a Tapas account and can't do any of those things. And it's always the case that not everyone who reads will want to sub even if they do have an account. BUT it's still worth putting your work out there, because the more people see it the more chances you get to build readership! ^^

A note on your format: don't worry too much about being story driven! Some of those types of comics aren't as popular as single strip comics, but they still have the potential to grow an audience! One thing I would recommend though is to try out a few different update schedules to see what works best for you/your growth. You may find that posting 1 page a week rather than 4 every 4 weeks nets you more views subs, or maybe the middle ground: 2 pages every 2 weeks? Diff. schedules work better/worse for diff comics, just requires some experimentation on your end.

Best of luck

Thanks for responding! I may try switching up the schedule and finding the best fit for me. Thanks for the suggestion!
