How to Thank Your Subscriber?

Hello, I am new here (the one who posted weird question).

Do you have a certain way to show gratitude to your subscriber? I went thanking them by PM-ing them (so it won't clutter their wall), but do you think it is okay enough? I want to do subscribe-for-suscribe but I don't think it's sincere unless I like their series, and some have no series. Also would it be good if I prepare a "Thank you" image (as most creators use) to fit this site's culture?

Personally, I use the "Thank You" Image. However regarding the "Sub for Sub" method, if you don't feel like subscribing unless you like it, maybe just visit their series then like & comment on their series a bit? You know, show them some love!

I would suggest you use the "Thank You" Image, but leave a bit of a personalized message, it doesn't have to be drastically different, you could just simply use their username to address them, or wish them luck with their series if they have one? If they don't just say you hope they'll enjoy the series?

I know when i dont want to do sub for sub, i will usually acknowledge their work by drawing one of their characters as a thank you card. Just them knowing you acknowledge their work is nice enough

Also sharing their work too cause just because youre not into it doesnt mean someone else you know wouldnt be

That method of thanking seems sweet for me. It shows that you were really considerate of them.
Does it trouble you at all though? Some times?

I've been in their shoes (hell still am), all most of us want is to know that we were at least given a chance before just passing us off. I generally make it a rule to look at new subscribers works when I receive them. Also it helps that I only do thank you cards when I'm not swamped with work XD

...yeah, I get you. And that works well then! Now I feel like wanting to do the same. For example, a surprise doodle or stuff like that! That sounds fun hehe.
