How to write an interesting action sequence?

I'm writing this space fantasy story, where one of the means of space travel and the one used by the main crew is the intraspace a shortcut dimension filled with monsters and danger, problem is I can't come up with this danger either is a non threat or something unsolvable, and they will do that a lot it needs to be interesting, it's like the sea of mosters of ancient folclore, I don't wanna to be repetitive or boring how should I aproach this?

The question is how do you write an interesting conflict / solution in general?
That´s pretty much the core of story writing.

Analyze shows like Futurama (scifi & funny like your story),
Captain Future (old scifi Anime) etc. and make notes about
the episodes how they build up a conflict and how they solved it.

That´s the first thing you do when you write a new episode for your comic.
You come up with something the space cab team has to do in that episode,
then you write a conflict which can be a monster, aliens etc and then you
have to come up with a solution

If you're looking for monster ideas I'd encourage you look through creatures of different myths and cultures, you can then pick and chose which aspects you'd like your specific monster you have in mind. For the fight scenes themselves I'd advise against repeatedly using words like 'boom' 'clang' or other sound effects as stand alone phrases as it'll look a bit immature. Lesing has said most of what I would have so I hope my lil input was a bit helpful.
