I always try my best to make the characters look charming and expressive! Seeing someone be very excited or attracted to a character would make me feel super fueled XDDD

Me simping over my own characters:

Exhibit A: Wellington

I literally went for months trying to justify him to be the main character.

Exhibit B: Roy my boy!

Dem smexy sideburns!

And several others in my previous projects that went unfinished.

4 months later

I do have a few Mister Mimic simps and honestly I love them. It makes me happy knowing someone loves a character I made so much. <3

Actually happened...
3 of my female OC had fanboys... IRL and online

And 1 fangirl for a male OC...

Ok I rarely understand people who simp just for a character's appearance but hi, yes, hello, I like this one :heart_03:

My stories not a comic but a novel, but for some strange reason almost everyone falls in love with Mrs. Moon when they first read the story. I mean, she's supposed to be charismatic, but she's also more than fifty years old, so it's a little bit strange to me, that regardless of age, she starts as basically everyone's favorite character.

that being said, i'd be fine with it as long as what they said was sfw. it makes me feel a little bad tho if i'm waiting to reveal them as a terrible person...

This happened to my story and we created hashtags together 🤣

If it was my comic? I'd be more confused than anything by stereotypical "simping", as all of my characters are cute little quail.

With my prose books (which I don't have on Tapas but do have serialized with comments on my website)? Um... uncomfortable in general because I'm very aroace myself. I also have a number of characters who are like me in that respect, or who are explicitly non-sexual and non-romancible aliens...

Still, depending on which of my human characters it was and whether they'd be comfortable with folks thinking of them that way, somewhat flattered that I'd written them well enough for people to find attractive, since I have no idea what that is.
